Legendary Quality Boots, but not a good experience!

I, being a first time boot buyer, was measured for a new pair of boots that were going to have to be made just for me. It turned out that the associate who measured my feet was someone of little experience, or someone who had not been properly trained. I waited 19 months for my boots, only to contact the store to find out that there was no record anywhere that my order had ever been placed with the factory. Well, I finally did get my boots. However, as time went by and the boots were wearing in, I was experiencing a lot of foot pain. I called the store and talked with Ann T., the manager. She told me that she had a number of problems that had occurred because of this salesperson, and that even though my "Dream" boots were out of warranty, she would replace them for me, because, "Lucchese wouldn't want me walking around in boots that were making my feet hurt!" I was thrilled! Well, after waiting several weeks for my new boots, I once again called Ann to inquire. It was then that I found out that I was going to get the "run around," and that she never had any intention of replacing my boots. I recently had occasion to explain this experience to management in another Lucchese store while I was paying for another pair of Lucchese boots, and was told that my boots could have been... and should have been replaced, because indeed, Lucchese would not want me walking around in a pair of their boots that made my feet hurt! It was the managers call, and Ann the manager did not keep her word. This is not a rant. I know of people who seem to have been born into this world just to make other peoples lives miserable. This is the only negative review I have ever written.
