Welcome to Santa Fe Foot and Ankle Institute where we hope to provide you information about podiatry and treatments available through Santa Fe Foot and Ankle Institute. We treat all disorders of the foot and ankle, using the best technology available. From the problems such as trouble with the skin or nails of the ankle or foot to the most complicated trauma or reconstruction, you can count on us to offer the most comprehensive and up-to-date treatments Our goal is to educate each patient regarding his or her problem and begin a treatment program with the highest quality of care. Whatever your foot trouble, we will work together to find the answers that will comfort you and bring you relief. Our Primary Doctor is Dr. Glenda King. Dr. King graduated with honors from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. She then enrolled in the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, where she graduated number one in her class. She completed her foot and ankle surgical residency at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, one of the top surgical residencies in the country. Her training included a balanced emphasis on forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle surgery. Dr. King has specialty training in diabetic limb salvage, wound management, and trauma. She also trained with vascular, plastic, and burn trauma surgeons. She is one of a select group of doctors to have a four month rotation in Baltimore, Maryland with Drs. Dror Paley and John Herzenberg, where she received training in the correction of all types of limb deformities. Dr. King is currently board qualified, and an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. She has published multiple articles and lectured to other physicians of all specialties, physical therapists, and to many groups. Her practice includes all aspect of foot and ankle care.
