Overall
AC&H replaced our heating ducts. Thanks!

We had a new Carrier furnace installed along with brand new Carrier AC system by AC&H a couple of years ago, replacing a 40 yr old original furnace. We contacted several companies. The salesman from AC&H was by and far the most professional and expert and we decided to have AC&H do the work. We were very happy with their workmanship, knowledge, professionalism, and the Carrier product. Cool summers and warm winters felt great! Sometime this past summer and fall, two more of our in-slab ducts collapsed (a common problem in our area). Only the master bedroom and two bathrooms were getting heat. We called upon Air Conditioning & Heating Service Co. of Santa Fe to solve our problem. Their salesman visited our home and evaluated our needs. Very quickly they came up with a proposal to install ductwork in attic with ceiling vents in all rooms. Lots of precise work in a cramped attic space was necessary with ductwork extending the full length of the house. We also had to move the Carrier furnace and cooling coil from one end of house to a location in at the other end, ensuring the required return air flow. We had hoped not to do that. Upon consultation with and advice from the salesmen, which included a master technician coming to the house to make sure the plan was sound; we decided the move was the best and only plan. The results justified our decision and their advice. Once again, the workmanship was fantastic and professional. The technicians working on the job were friendly, skilled, and very knowledgeable. They communicated with us at each step in the process and left the work area clean as they worked from room to room and at the end of each day. We very were impressed with their "art work" as they built the new duct system and connected the furnace and coil to the new duct work. Wow! Now we have heat and cooling in all rooms. It's so nice to wake up to warm kitchen in the AM on these cold spring mornings and come home to cool afternoons as the weather warms. We are very pleased with our AC&H experience, the value added to our home, and the superior quality and care of their work. Do yourself a favor and call AC&H for all your heating and cooling needs. We highly recommend them to anyone. ~ Los Alamos, NM (White Rock).

Company Review

I am in the process of installing air conditioning in my home and I just had to find a way to share my experience with the professionalism and respect I felt from the salesman who met with me from Air Conditioning and Heating Service. As a woman it is not always easy to get equipment details from mechanical sales and service professionals. It seems that they feel I will not understand the complex functions of their products and their main goal is to sell me on the product aesthetics rather than its performance capacity. I am so grateful for the open and honest discussion (and air flow lesson) I had with the salesman regarding which equipment would best suit my needs. It was so refreshing to have a salesman explain the products to me and suggest which one would be suitable to my home rather then having a salesman tell me that the more expensive product was better, because it costs more. I still haven't had my air conditioning installed yet as I am waiting to get another estimate from another company, but so far, Air Conditioning and Heating Service is in the lead, not because they are the cheapest (and with the economy today, this was my initial goal), but because of the time and respect that was shown to me as a customer who is making a major purchase. It is only because of what my father taught me regarding the purchase of major appliances that I am still waiting for an additional estimate, but so far, Air Conditioning and Heating Service has gained my trust and they will probably also gain my future business.

Home Owner

I had Air Conditioning and Heating Service Company out to my house to check my furnace and provide a general maintenance. I was very impressed with the Technician they sent out. He was very knowledgable and professional. He kept me well informed about what he was doing by showing me the dirty filter and even pointing out the appearance of the furnace before he started. Once complete he again showed me the furnace and I was suprised because I did not realize how dirty it actually was. We started talking about allergies because I suffer from them as do many others. I commented to him that I felt like every time the furnace would kick out I could tell dust was blowing into the air because I felt stuffed up. Since I live on a dirt road he recommended a duct cleaning to help with that problem. I guess that will be next on my list. Thank you ACH for your great service. I will recommend you to all my family and friends.
