        Polar Automtoive is a family owned and operated business. Polar Automotive and Radiator has been providing Santa Cruz County with quality automotive repair since 1948. We are a family business, and we take pride in working and living in Santa Cruz. The Woolever family purchased Polar Radiator in 1984 and then Greg Woolever expanded upon the business by adding an automotive repair shop. Greg has been repairing and restoring cars his entire life. Today, Greg and his wife Margaret are hard at work running a business and raising their four children. Polar Automotive and Radiator offers professional automotive services specializing in everything from oil changes to factory scheduled maintenance to computer diagnostics to fleet services. We also specialize in cooling systems with state of the art equipment that can accommodate commercial and heavy duty industrial radiators. We provide service and repair to fuel tanks, heater cores, a/c condensers and boat heat exchangers. Our technicians are ASE certified and we use the latest tools and equipment when servicing your vehicle. Our mission is to provide our customers with quality automotive repair at a reasonable price, and in a timely matter. We take the time to sit down with each customer and provide accurate and honest information in regard to their vehicles.         Just had another amazing exper...

        Just had another amazing experience with Polar Automotive! After years of dealing with other shops that have left me feeling uncertain I am so happy that I have found this amazing shop! Had my car repaired again and drove away feeling like I had a brand new car. I have gone to Polar Automotive for everything from simple oil changes to major repairs and I have always been completely 100% satisfied with their service. Greg, the owner, always takes his time explaining the repairs that need to be done and never seems rushed when he answers my many, many questions. The entire staff is honest, professional and completely trustworthy. They actually make having your car repaired a wonderful experience! I just love Polar Automotive!
