i love this place! i love that its right by school so my friends and i go all the time. Its a little family ran Italian restaurant and everyone there is beyond nice, especially the owner Michael! The service is great and the food is just as good! LOVE IT!
We recently had a big party at Fiorillos. Initially, those of us who planned the party were really impressed with the service and the food. But now we are getting tons of "what a great party" & "the food was excellent" comments from our guests. This kind of feedback makes us feel like we made the best possible choice for our celebration. Thank you for everything!
good food nice and clean

First off, I want to say that living in the bay area my entire life I never knew this place existed until a friend of mine took me there one Friday night six years ago and well, I have been going there once a week (if not more) ever since! i have had several milestone parties there and its just been a great remembrance.\r The Owner and his Family are extremely friendly and accommodating for any and all occasions whether it be a party for 2 or a party of 52. The food is so good I can't decide from week to week what to get, baked Salmon or the Chicken Piccata or the Coiled Sausage appetizer, even the hamburgers are great. \r Also, If your just in the mood for quick drink after a hard day the bar also boasts with a pleasant atmosphere as well as a bartender that makes you feel welcome. \r The Family will always want to know how your dinner was and appreciates comments. If your looking for a place that had great food good conversation in the bay area and love Italian food, this is the place!

My friends and I are avid diners, and the three of us dined at Fiorillo's on Friday night. The Cesar salad was wilted and bland, but did have actual anchovies on top. The onion soup was tasteless and cold (beef stock, onions, bread and cheese - how could they mess this up?). Even though the Chicken Saltimboca was overcooked and cold, it was the best dish that night. Unfortunately, the service was the ABSOLUTE worst we'd ever experienced in the South Bay. Yes, the place was busy, but there was no reason for the non-existant service at such an ""established"" restaurant. We didn't get drinks or bread for about 20 minutes after being seated. After 40 minutes we finally received our food - all at once, soups, salads, appetizers and entrees. We didn't see the waitress again. No drink refills, no wine, nothing. When we finally did get the waitress' attention, we asked for various things (bread, a knife, a glass of wine). We got none of it. Seriously. Finally fed up with this ridiculous service, we asked for the bill - which took 14 minutes to receive even though 1/2 of the restaurant was empty by then! I'm not sure who is running this place, but they certainly don't want repeat customers. Our $110 meal was a complete waste of time and effort. We hope the $1 tip we left was a message to the staff. I would avoid this place. You'll likely get a better meal and much better service at Olive Garden, McDonalds, or the taco truck down the street.

First of all the food was great and well worth the cost if you can get past the extremely rude, impatient and uncaring wait staff and owner. We had a waitress who wouldn't stop long enough to hear our requests, then after dinner we had to practically argue with her to get her to straighten the bill out. We asked her to get the manager to explain to him (mind you in a very calm and friendly tone) that his waitress was rude to us and not attentive, after trying to describe our problem he just shut us down and told us ""What do you want from me? I just got done making food for a big banquet and I am tired. I don't have time to listen to this. Just forget it"" (this quote was his EXACT words) and then walked away from us without letting us finish getting our point across. Again the food was great but NOT worth the hell you have to go through to get it. We will definitely be looking for more appreciative italian restaurants in the area.

I preferred Fiorillos before they moved to their present location. It had a real Italian family ambience. The new location is a bit more upscale and smaller. Service is a little slow for American tastes butif you learn to be patient and you wont be disappointed. Stick with the Italian food and you can't go wrong. A light lunch of spinach salad is great also.

My friends and I have been going to Fiorillo's for years. We have never had a bad experience at this particular restaurant. The food is always excellent. The staff encourages you to notify them, if you have any issues with your meal. The owners and their family have always being extremely friendly and accomodating, to our whether it is a group of two or a group of 30 people in our party. Almost all of my friends and I celebrate every big occassion at this restaurant. When ever one of says we want to go to Fiorillo's for dinner you know you will have extra guests at your table. We all have the philosphy if you are thinking Italian it has to be Fiorillo's. We also, love the fact that we are all young and still are welcome to this restaurant and are treated with a great deal of respect.

Ive been a Fiorillos patron since Vince opened his doors in California. The food has always been superb, keying off his terrific tomato sauce recipe. The restaurant caters to all ages, from the pizza crowd to the Italian cuisine lovers. They are famous for their bread which is an Italian bread covered in nuts and stuff, served warm and with REAL butter. I cant get enough of it. Whenever I want to really treat friends and relatives, I take them to Fiorillos. Their pizzas are the very best and my favorite continental dish is their veal parmesan, but thats me. After reading several of the other reviews I couldnt believe they were talking about the same restaurant. I find if you are respectful, you are respected and Vincent and his entire family have always been courteous, conscientious and concerned about the dining experience of their customers. Its not the restaurant.

I have been dinning at Fiorillo's for many years, and it has always been a pleasant meal, and my favorite place to go. I am hooked on the pasta dishes as well as the pizza. I come from a large Family, and Fiorillo's is where everyone wants to go to celebrate Family events. The management and staff are very kind, and acomminating. They have a very extensive menu to please the whole Family. The food taste fresh just like my Grandma would cook for me when I was a little boy. The restaurant is well operated and one of the cleanest that I have ever eaten at. I can't wait for my next meal there. I love this place!

OMG, this is a little gold mine. The food is so superb, I thought that I was eating at an upscale 4* restaurant at 1/4 the price! No wait, great atmosphere. Friendly staff. The owner even came and talked to us for awhile! Superb restaurant for the price!

I have been here four times now, and the last time was the worst which is prompting this review. Watch out for the waitstaff if you happen to be young and in a larger group (of 7!). This restuarant is definitely frequented by an older crowd, and the waitstaff seemed to prefer it that way. We were not treated very nicely (although the food was great!). On prior occasions, when I have gone there with my parents or for Santa Clara University events, we were treated respectfully. The food is pretty good - I've tried the steaks as well as different pastas and appetizers and I've liked everything I've ordered. The atmosphere is decent, although it feels a little bit like dining in a hotel lobby. The service, however, can really ruin an otherwise nice dinner.

I went here for dinner on a Saturday night and will never go back. Most of the patrons are older senior citizens and though the parking and wait were short, the waitress got my order wrong and was rude. She tried to make me keep my mushroom pizza. After she asked if we wanted dessert she didn't wait for an answer and just left. The french onion soup was too salty, they charge 25 cents for refills on soda though you can get endless iced tea. Their ""special bread"" was just cut up ciabatta, served warm and drenched in oil and not very good. My pizza was decent but the service and treatment ruined my friend's dinner.

Screaming owners and unhappy waitstaff make it quite the unpleasant dining experience; I tried going here twice, but I won't be going back. Good parking lot and no wait to sit but long wait for food; they have a large room for big parties, so maybe that could be a better experience.
