General Info: At Open Door we are all about providing a loving atmosphere where people and cities are transformed by the presence of God. We hope that will be your experience here. Below is more information about what makes us unique as a church. God bless you.Our journey as a church began in 1972 when three seminary students decided to start a community for young believers who really wanted to live out the words of Jesus. What began as group of believers getting together for a weekly dinner, worship and Bible study, blossomed into a movement of discipleship houses and church plants throughout the SF Bay Area. As God blessed our movement, we went global with church plants and ministries in the UK, Mexico, the Philippines and beyond. It's amazing to see all that God has done since our humble beginnings.
