If a major home appliance fails, Don is the one to call! Right on time, diagnosed the problems (both my washer and dryer broke down at the same time) gave me an estimate, did the work and left my utility room cleaner than he found it. Answered all my appliance questions and even explained the workings of the guts of the machines. A repairman who is prompt, friendly, fair, honest and knowledgeable - what a treat! Thank you, Don, you are the wizard of washers and dryers!

First off, I have never, ever, cared enough about someone doing their job to take my time and go online to write about it. I am just not the review type...That said.....

Don came out to fix my washing machine today, and I have never been so pleased with a repair man. I absolutely loved him. He showed up at the time he said he would and was refreshingly friendly. He was not phased by my yappy dogs, and I was instantly comfortable with him in my home. He just has an honest, nice guy air about him. The craziest thing was he was not just a guy who knows how to fix machines, but a real technician. He was telling me about the appliance seminars he had just gone to, and which manufacturers were doing what. He told me about the new washers that were yet to be introduced to the market, and what he thought of them. I told him I was thinking of getting a new washer, but not until I move, hence the reason for getting this fixed. He explained what to get and what not to get. And why. He knows EVERYTHING about these things. He explained how washing machines work and the different types of agitators and why some are more effective than others. I expressed my love of Maytag, and he went on to tell me about the Maytag repair man from the 60's, (well before my time) and I got a brief history of the company, beginning to end. He explained about the different brands, where and how they are made. It's like someone plucked an honest to goodness man of his trade straight out of the fifties and put him in my kitchen!! Not only is my washing machine fixed, but I am much smarter about them now. He fixed it quickly and showed me what went wrong and why. It's rare to find someone so genuine and I have no doubt about the quality of his work. He could build one with spare parts from my garage, I think. I don't know how many repair men/women work at this company, but Don's time is absolutely worth the money and it was still cheaper than getting a new washing machine. I started my machine when he left, and it was so quiet I had to lift the lid to see if it was actually spinning! BEST REPAIR MAN EVER!!!
