My beautiful sofas just arrived, one week early! I was referred to Sofa Factory a few years ago by a designer, for a leather sectional. Unfortunately, I didn't give the salesperson a chance to tell me about their policies - I just looked around, didn't see exactly what I needed and left. Then, earlier this month, I needed living room pieces (something in between Jennifer Convertibles and Ethan Allen quality and price) and the designer again referred me to Sofa Factory. This time I discovered that Sofa Factory can make any chair or sofa in the showroom into any piece you need (chair, sofa, loveseat, sectional, etc.). Then you choose from 700 fabrics, and it's ready in three weeks. Shannon was extremely helpful with great suggestions and alternatives, but never pushy. She showed me fabrics that would hold up to three small children and explained why other fabrics might not be the best choice for my needs. I paid $2K total, for a sofa and loveseat in exactly the fabric I wanted. Jennifer Convertibles had less expensive pieces but the quality wasn't there and if I wanted a different fabric, the price went up and the lead time was at least 6-8 weeks. Ethan Allen has higher quality furniture but the couches I liked were in the $5K arena. If you are looking for mid level furniture and would like to customize it without breaking the bank, I highly recommend Sofa Factory. Try not to be put off by the strip mall feel of the place - just focus on the fact that you can basically have any style and fabric you want for a good price. And you can add matching pieces later. The only negative I can think of is that I was notified that my sofas were ready only when the delivery guy called to tell me he was 30 minutes away if I was able to accept them that day. However, it was a pleasant surprise and they were really nice guys. I ordered the custom sofas on May 10 and had them in my house on May 24 (and they removed my old ones for me).

I would not shop at this store again if they paid me to take the furniture away.
I knew the first time I entered the store that the owner and sales staff were not into customer service or even general courtesy. But, figured that I could trade a little customer service to get a good price on my sofa.
Boy, was that a mistake. The women in this establishment are rude, less than helpful and they really don?t care about ?the customer?. I have never been treated this poorly and am still in shock. If you ask a question or request some assistance in your selection, the owner (Mary) acts like she is doing you favor. She is far more interested in talking to her help, than helping her customers.
That was just the beginning. I was told that my sofa would be delivered in 2 to 3 weeks. I advised the owner that I had a very important event at my house and needed the couch for the event. I was assured that it would be fine and that we had penalty of time, since the event was 6 ? weeks away. Bad assumption! 2 weeks later I received a call that the fabric was on back order and there would be a week delay. After that first phone call, there were no more updates. If I wanted an update, I had to call them. And they acted like I was being a pain, simply because I wanted updated information. Needless to say it did not come in 2, 3 or even 4 weeks. 6 ? weeks later (and 1 day before my event) the couch showed up. In our first phone call, Mary had promised me that she would have the couch delivered the same day she received it. By the time that day came around that story (like so many others) had changed. She flat out denied making the expedited delivery offer. Oh ? and the warranty she promised? I have yet to see that paperwork.
My advice ? spend a few bucks more and save the headaches. Your time and peace of mind is way more important than what little you will save at this sorry excuse for a store.

-I am really happy with my new furniture and saved a lot of money by getting my furniture throughtthem rather than larger more commercial furniture stores. It is really had to come by furniture places now a days that are reliable, inepensive and that produce good quality things. I would highly suggest that everyone in the area support this great family-run business when it comes to buying new furniture.

The only reason I shopped here was for the prices but even then no one deserves to be treated so smugly. The women in this establishment are rude and not very helpful. There is a lacking for what real customer service is and what it takes to make every client a happy customer.
