Very large thrift store with a particularly nice collection of tableware and glassware. There are numerous fitting rooms, which are tidy and can only be unlocked by an employee. When I completed my purchase an employee offered to help me carry the items to my car, and helped me load them in the trunk.
Note: The entrance to the store is not actually on E. 14th street, but at the back of the store where there is a customer parking lot.

They also do electronics recycling - meaning they'll take my broken printer. I think the state pays charities to collect them to keep it out of the landfills.\r \r The locals love this place, and I'm learning to as I become a Castro Valley local. They pick up donations in Castro Valley on days they choose and mass mail to you, but I bring my stuff in. \r \r It's a big thrift store, and they have fitting rooms. I have some friends who really like to shop for clothes recreationally, and they find really fun clothes here - fancy jackets, etc.\r \r Don't cut it too close on time, as sometimes there's a line at the cashier, and you need to chill out and browse while it goes down.\r \r The prices are much higher than a yard sale, of course, but you don't have to work too hard to find stuff, either. It's not as hit-and-miss as most thrift stores plus regular stores are so into selling stuff for next season that you almost have to shop here to buy stuff for this season.\r \r I come in for ""this season"" emergency kids clothes - when I need three more pairs of boys shorts right now ... when he's lost both his jackets ... \r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r
This place is one of the BEST Thrift Store!!!!!!!!
