        A family owned and run business since 1964. Melvin Elliott opened Mel's Tire San Leandro in 1964, with his family at his side he earned a reputation for treating his customers like family. Mel's wife Gladys and sons Gary and Brian worked in the store untill Mel retired and Brian took over the daily operations. We are blessed to have third and fourth generation customers and several five star reviews on Yelp.

        Honest shop

        My dealer told me I needed to buy a new tire for $200.00 because a nail could not be repaired. A co-worker refered me to Mel's Tire, there price was much less plus when I went in I was told the tire could be repaired. They repaired it for $20.00 saving me almost $200.00.

        Repaired tire $20.00, finding an honest shop priceless.
