In June 2009 my husbands company had to relocate him to work on a different project, and after 5 years living comfortably in the Bay Area we had to move, although my husbands company was paying for the move they ordered us to find the moving company, so we start our research and had invited a few companies to come to our house and offer us an estimate. every questions we had was immediately answered, every situation we encountered was resolved, professionalism at its best. We received a guaranteed price for our move and it made us feel very comfortable, the other companies did give us a guaranteed pricing as well, but it was all about the presentation of items, the quote was very simple to read and no small letters you can't read or extra charges you won't understand, we accepted their bid and reserved the date. The crew arrived on time on the day of the packing and did such a wonderful job that we invited all 5 of them to stay for some pizza we ordered. They worked so hard and were so careful with our stuff, they were also very explanatory about the way they were packing and moving our items, it was quite interesting watching them work. It took them about 6 days to deliver our furniture and every single piece arrived in perfect condition, they placed all the items where we requested them to and put back together everything they had taken apart. We have moved a few times in the past but this company is by far the best we have ever used, the service, the workmanship and the carig.
My move went really well. I moved locally within San Jose. I just lost my house because the bad economy. I was forced to move into a two bedroom apartment. My previous home was a four bedroom two bath. So just imagine how many items I had. I literally needed two trucks to move me. I had to store some of my belongings in a storage facility, because I couldn't take everything with me. The move basically took all day, because I also needed packing done. The movers were very polite and well mannered. They were very careful with my stuff. I had a lot of china, mirrors, and antique pottery. None of it came damaged, except for minor scratches that couldn't be prevented. I believe the foreman's name was Augie or something like that, they were Hispanic. The movers that were assisting the foreman spoke broken English, but they understood everything I asked of them. Considering the amount of stuff I had and the two trucks that were used on my move alone, the bill wasn't as high as I was expecting it..It made me sad to leave my home of six years, but the movers made it much easier for me. They made sure I felt comfortable with them, I felt that I could have trusted them, even if I wasn't there supervising the move. My dog "wiggles" was running around in and out of the house, and not once did they complain. In a previous move, I had movers tell me to lock my dog inside the restroom because he was in their way. That was so rude, my dog is like my son, and I get really offended when people say negative things about him. Long story short, these movers performed a very professional move, and were very nice!!!! I truly recommend them.

When moving day arrived this moving company I hired provided plenty of professional movers to get the job done quickly and without incident. I had everything ready for them and they packed up the truck in no time at all. As I watch my worldly belongings leave my home I didn't feel any apprehension about my goods. As I made the trip to my new home, the company kept me updated on the progress of my belongings and the projected date of delivery. When I arrived at my destination I was alerted that delivery would be made the very next day at 9 a.m. Wouldn't you know it, they were on time as stated. The truck pulled up at exactly 9 a.m. with three movers looking professional and ready to unload. The movers put each box in the room that the box was labeled. They were finished unloading within an hour and a half. I proceeded to unpack my goods over the next couple of days. I couldn't have been more pleased. There were no damages. When I received my final bill, there were no hidden charges. All costs were as originally stated in my quote. This company turned out to be the best movers I have ever hired. I would go with this moving service again in an instant.

If a company isn't an AMSA member, that doesn't mean it isn't reputable, but an AMSA membership is a clear indication of legitimacy.
