Operated by a staff of more than 100 volunteers, Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley is a nonprofit, public-benefit corporation that rehabilitates injured, sick and orphaned wild animals. The center offers treatment and care services for over 4,000 birds and mammals from nearly 150 species every year. It provides treatment services for animals suffering from dehydration, emaciation, fractures, infections, wounds, bone diseases and neurological damages. Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley offers short- and long-term care services. The center also provides euthanasia services. It offers community education services through lectures and presentations. Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley additionally organizes various fundraising events.
