San Jose Skate is presenting Independent Film Showcases, which are held every 3rd Thursday of every month starting in January. We will be showing films made by students and local filmmakers from around the bay area. We want the atmosphere to be a cozy little college night where we believe there are so many films out there that just don t get the recognition that they deserve and that we see our place of business as somewhere very capable of facilitating the underground film scene, allowing for local directors, actors, camera men and woman, a chance to be recognized and to associate with people with the same hopes and ambitions as them.
