    Burgers good. Fries often bad.

    Provided by

Burgers are good. Fries often taste reheated and are extra greasy. Sometimes are good. \r \r And you are right, the male owner is a real dick. The wife is nice though.\r \r Used to come to Snell after Silver Creek games with the hockey team, but after the health issue at the Bird location, have warned folks to stay away until there are no more issues. Better safe than sorry. Maybe that's why the Pruneyard location shut down so fast.

Best burgers for celiacs. Family Friendly - even with little ones

    Provided by

Grandma Mojo is the best. She lets my daughter order for herself and even remembers the wheat and tomato allergies. Very friendly service and is always kind. We even brought other kids and even though they were loud, there wasn't a mean word, just a gentle reminder that there were other customers and to keep it down. Would I go there after a soccer game? ABSOLUTELY!\r \r \r

    Good Food, not Kid Friendly

    Provided by

As a Celiac, there are few restaurants where I can get a burger and fries that not only taste good, but won't make me sick. I've been eating there for the last year, usually without my kids, or at least not all of them and its always been a good experience. After tonight I'll never go back. The place is set up to be ""kid friendly"" with kid sized tables and a TV in the wall showing cartoons. Tonight my husband and I took all three kids (5 and under) and as we got our food, the owner asked to not bring my kids again. Were they angels? No. Were they being normal kids hungry and excited about eating out? Yes. Were they listening to instructions from us? Mostly...they are small kids. This is a burger place, not The French Laundry. It was insulting and unrealistic expectations on the owners part. And he has lost my business.

    Don't Waste Your Time!!!

    Provided by

I have eaten at Mojos a couple times, and all times have been an unhappy experience. I will never eat at Mojos again. I am very dissatisfied with the employees and the Mojo product. Burgers are very rare when asked for well done. Fries are burnt and dry. Sand dollars are burnt and dark brown. The employees cooking our food were laughing and goofing around. I was disgusted to see the employees slapping each other and being loud while making my food. We came to Mojos because of all the awards won but can honestly not understand why. The food and service has not been award winning. Don't waste your time! You can get just as good burger at Carl's Jr and pay half the price!

    Good Burger Joint

    Provided by

This is a very good burger joint. They use high grade natural Angus beef for their burgers and the buns and produce are fresh as well. The fries really reminded me of In-n-Out except they were a little larger - they tasted freshly made and were seasoned well but were on the soft (floppy?) side. The onion rings were good. The service is fast and friendly.\r \r The atmosphere is burger joint (maybe a bit confused about their image). The place is clean and open. It's a great place for kids - good food and a lower counter with videos playing quietly or no sound at all. Parking wasn't a problem.\r \r We will definitely go there again.\r

Burgers + onion rings are good!

    Provided by

Good little burger joint. Burgers are good and come dressed with fresh toppings. Onion rings are also good - crispy and golden. Best part of Mojo is the fact that they have Franks Red Hot sauce available tableside so that you can dress your burger the way you like it. (For us, this means lots of hot sauce).\r \r Plus, the place is clean and friendly. For kids, they have an area where they can watch cartoons while they eat. \r \r We'll be back! Good stuff.

    Best Burger in the World!

    Provided by

Simply put, Mojo makes the best tasting burgers & fries in the world. The closest comparison would be Happy Hound and Hungry Hound. Mojo uses better beef. \r \r Mojo's fries are prepared from fresh potatoes using a secret process that renders them crispy on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside, and they don't use crappy ketchup like so many burger joints.

    Great Food and Service!!!

    Provided by

Went there last weekend with my girlfriend. We were immediately greeted by Peter the owner. He definitely made us feel welcomed. The burgers were juicy, flavorful and cooked as ordered. The restaurant was clean and well kept.

A great fast food burger with high quality ingredients

    Provided by

It's hard to believe this is a private business and not a franchise when you walk in the door. The operation is very professional and clean. The service is friendly and fast. Mojo burger offers burgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, and even PB&J's.\r \r This is a very kid-friendly place with little picnic tables with movies playing to keep kids (and parents) happy.\r \r The burgers are made with hormone-free high quality beef. They offer a regular burger and a Mojo burger. The regular burger is sort of like a McDonald's burger only with good ingredients. The Mojo burger is more like a slightly bigger In-N-Out burger with all the fixings. The fries are similar to In-N-Out. They are fresh cut potatoes fried fresh and served hot. The drinks are refillable.\r \r The prices are very good considering the high quality ingredients they're using. No, it's not as cheap as McDonald's, but the burgers are actually char broiled and have top quality meat, unlike McDonald's.\r \r I recommend this place very highly if you're looking for a good fast burger.

The most satisfying burger experience I have ever had.

    Provided by

Mojo has great service. I go in and I am greeted by Mrs. Mojo. She's very nice and supplies some of the best customer service I have ever received.\r \r The food is great, I order the #1 Mojo Burger with Cheese, Fries and a refillable (free) soft drink. The burger is huge, 1/3 pound I believe. You have your choice of toppings. My favorite is a classic mix of pickles, mustard, ketchup, lettuce, tomatoe and cheese.\r \r The fries are better than In N' Out fries. They are made fresh and are not greasey or salted.\r \r If there is a better burger joint than Mojo, I want to know about it. Mojo by far in my burger is the best there is.

    A great burger

    Provided by

As a resident in santa cruz but a buisnessman in san jose, I have often enjoyed the retreat that comes when i get an opportunity to enjoy lunch at mojo burger. In a city where lunch can be a frustration, I enjoy the friendly atmosphere and the great food. It is nice to be able to enjoy a great burger and know that i am contributing to a buisness that cares.

    Great Place

    Provided by

I just read most of the reviews for Mojo Burger. I am shocked! I think that these reveiwers that didn't like Mojos were at a different place all together. I think the staff is great they always say hi! We are there at least once a week with our two daughters and we all have a great time with great food. Try the Kalua Pig on Fridays and Saturdays! The little red tables for the kids are great and they get to watch Cartoons during dinner! I get to watch Hockey if it's on...you can always ask! A++

Prices too high for a high school student

    Provided by

I'm a student at STHS, which is literally right across the street. And along with other students, I sometimes go there after school. Now most of you know...students are usually broke. Or don't have a lot of money. In my opinion, if you want to open a restraunt next to a school, the prices better be in the range that a student could afford. All we could get is a cheeseburger or two, because they are 99 cents each, but a meal is about $7. The food is pretty good quality, the regular cheeseburger is a little plain, but the fries are great.

    Average.

    Provided by

Items reviewed: Double mojoburger with cheese, onion rings, french fries. Being on a quest for the ultimate hamburger, I just had to check this citysearch winner out. Unfortunately, Mojo burger does not make it to the top of my own list. I found that the hamburgers, with all the fixings, taste just like burger king's own Whopper. While the burgers were large and quite juicy, they don't stand out. The fries also seem off. While they look fresh, they taste like fast-food style frozen. So if you're a big fan of the whopper and would like a bigger, badder incarnation of the fast food experience, then mojoburger is for you. However if you're a fan of hole-in-the-wall burger stands, look elsewhere. Overall: C+
