Read this before you buy

My review is completely 100% factual. I have kept a detailed record of my eight store visits, my six phone conversations and the three unreturned voice mails that I have left.

I placed my order around Christmas. I ordered about ten pieces (suits/jackets/shirts). The total cost was between $3000 - $4,000. Melissa was extremely charming in the sales process and promised that my order would be ready in about ten business days.

To make a long story short, nothing was ready in ten days and I made seven separate trips to the store over the space of three months to collect my clothes. They never called me once to let me know if my clothes were ready. I had to call every time.

On three of those visits to the store, I left empty handed even though I had called and confirmed with Melissa or Hossein or an employee beforehand that my clothes were ready to be picked up.

My complete order was not filled in the three months, so four weeks ago I asked for a refund for the three shirts that had not been made. Despite having been promised twice that I would receive first a credit card refund and then a check, I am still owed the refund.

They are always full of excuses. Some of the standards are ""Someone is ill please come back later, we will have your suit/jacket/shirts etc"". ""Your suit was here, we must have sold it by mistake"" ""My husband is the one who does refunds, you will have to see him"", funnily enough she was able to easily run the bill through on my credit card last December:-)

The final straw came when I found out that they had not even placed my shirt order with the vendor. They took my money in December 2011 and waited for three months to let me now that they had not ordered the shirts. I don't know if the shirt vendor had stopped doing business with them.

The silver lining is that I was forced to find some other shirts and I did find a great on-line shirt store in the UK. The price of the customized shirts is similar to the shirts here but these shirts do actually arrive on your doorstep unlike here. The site is: ctshirtsDOTCOM. They will customize them for you - tailored fit or regular, French cuffs or regular, monogrammed etc. It is really cool.

Also they did not have my size in inventory for one suit pants and said they would order it. I am a long. But when I picked up the suit they had clearly taken the short pant that was in inventory and dropped the hem to make it look like a long. It doesn't hang properly and the fit is off. That was a $700 suit. Why take my money and tell me you are going to order my size when you clearly had no intention of doing so? I would just have chosen a different suit.

These people have not been ethical in their dealings with me at all. I have never had this happen before. I have been extremely patient with them and very calm but they have totally taken advantage of me and I want you to avoid falling into the same trap that I did. I have no idea why they have been so unreliable and misleading.

Another example of their misrepresentation: Melissa promised to give me a suit for free because of the issues I had experienced. I told her all I wanted was my original order not a free suit but she insisted that the suit was ""on them"". Well I did not expect to ever see the suit and of course I did not receive it. Misrepresentation seems to come very easily to Melissa and her husband Hossein.

The quality of the suits and jackets is quite reasonable for the price and so it is frustrating that they have not been honest with me..

To sum up my experience, I would say that I feel I have been ripped off and it has left a very bad taste in my mouth. I am not used to dealing with people like this. To me they have exhibited very poor customer values.
