Make sure you double and tripple read your CONTRACT before signing! My lawyers Comment "The way she words the contract is to make sure you will be screwed month to month" Michelle is NOT a very good person she has become very nasty on the phone and through emails and mail. DO NOT LET HER HAVE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER BECAUSE YOU WILL BE CHARGED EVERY MONTH EVEN AFTER YOU HAVE CANCELED YOUR MEMBERSHIP. SHE TELLS ME THAT I COULD NOT CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP UNTIL THE MONTH THAT IS WRITTEN ON YOUR CONTRACT. I CALLED AND CANCELED WITH HER THE DAY BEFORE AND SHE SAID i HAD TO DO IT THE FIRST DAY OF THE NEW MONTH. SO I CALLED THE NEXT DAY AND SHE TELLS ME IT IS TO LATE FOR ME TO CANCEL NOW AND SHE WILL BE CHARGING MY ACCOUNT! I AM STUNNED BY HER ENTIRE ATTITUDE AND HER PERSISTENCE TO GET MONEY FROM ME EVEN THOUGH I MADE MANY ATTEMPTS TO CANCEL MEMBERSHIP. ALSO i HAVE READ OTHER COMPLAINTS THAT ARE VERY SIMILAR AND HAVE TALKED TO OTHER CUSTOMERS WITH THE SAME ISSUES. SHE IS ONLY OUT FOR AS MUCH MONEY AS SHE CAN GET FROM YOUR CREDIT CARD! VERY BAD BUSINESS!
First of all, Magic Tan DOES NOT have a "contract". Second, a person who can NOT AFFORD a service should not enter into a business agreement. Third, if she has an "attorney" why have I NEVER heard from them? And fourth, we have been in business 20 years and have NEVER had 1 complaint like this in the past. If a person performs such bad business practices as this "yvonne" claims, I would have been out of business within my first year. This person was seeking an attorney to reconcile their personal finances to avoid bankruptcy. If this person had a legitimate "legal claim" she would file a charge against Magic Tan with the Better Business Bureau not yellowpages.com and I would be in a legal dispute with her, not an internet dispute on yellowpages.com.
