I went there to dim sum today. I found out their foods is extremely horrible. I didn't believe this is restaurant. It's food like piece of junk, no taste at all. In addition, the price is not cheap there. I don't recommend to eat there unless you want to waste your money and you eat at your own risk. I wish I could give them negative star. Thanks for reading.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We had Flourishing Garden cater our wedding, and I can honestly say that I have never been so appalled by the utter lack of professionalism, service, taste, and even ethical conduct. After paying our deposit, it was an absolute beast to try to contact Ming, the manager. No returned calls or emails. They were late with turning in required documentation to the wedding location, adding to our already stressful day, which required me to hunt them down to finally turn it in. On the day of the wedding, they were late to set up. They served hor'deauvres an hour late. The dinner they served was cold. The last straw was that had the audacity to overcharge us!! They billed us for an extra table ($450)! It is now nearly four months from our wedding and they have yet to send us the refund despite promising us many times.
DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE FOR ANY CATERING EVENT unless you want a huge headache, mediocre food, and to be cheated.

I can not take from the wonderful service that my wife and I received at the wedding, but the mural painting by the Fresno artist Terry Phillips is what we reminise the most. So beautiful, the ship, birds, fish and water scene in gold. We since hired Mr. Phillips to paint a mural in our living room and are very proud of his work.

We walked in the restautrant and the waiter motioned from acoss the restaurant for us to have a seat. I found that a bid rude and wouldn't have minded if he was perhaps busy or something but he was just chit chatting with the bar tender. There were seven servers that evening and at the moment about 6 tables one of them a small party. We got to order our food promptly at least, however, we had to ask and flag down 4 separate waitors to get a glass of water for me and my wife, and finally got the water after the meal had arrived. It was also a pain trying to find someone just to let us pay our bill.
The food itself was very good. I personally recommend the general chicken. Its the best i've had at any restaurant and me and my wife being in the restaraunt business sample alot of restaurants.
However the service was aweful. there were more services then tables with guests and it seemed they were all to busy to help you somehow. And when you did get their attention they seemed rushed or made you feel like you were wasting their time by bothering them. The only service I've experienced worse then this was at a chilli's restaurant on alamaden and blossom hill here in san jose. I wont even goto that chilli's anymore.
The only thing that keeps me comming back to this chinese restaurant is good quality of the food. I believe however if they actually stepped up the customer service skills they could do alot better.
being a server myself i usually tip very well out of respect for the job and knowing that's where most of the money comes from for a server, however, i couldn't bring myself to leave much of a tip after that service. I think i'd much rather order take-out if i even bother with this restaurant anymore.

This restaurant makes the best chinese food I have ever had. The food is high quality and always fresh and the sauces are great. I give Flourishing Garden my highest recommendation when it comes to chinese food. I would however suggest calling ahead for reservations because they occasionally host large parties and weddings. The people who own and work at the restaurant are good people who know good service. I urge you to give it a try and I doubt you will be disappointed.
