Fahrenheit is hands down one of the best restaurants i?ve been to, It?s just the perfect mix in the ambiance of the place, the personality of the staff o and did i mention the TO DIE FOR FOOD?!?! everything is organic btw which is a pleasant plus as there are not too many all organic places to eat in the area. I always just thought of Fahrenheit as a nightlife sort of place, and those sort of places tend to be ?less then par? foodwise but Fahrenheit IS indeed a legitimate restaurant with a great experience to go along with the great food!

Hidden Gem

This was the first time I had ever been to Fahrenheit, and I'll definitely be going back. Everything brought to our table was well prepared and beautifully presented. I really love the organic and local aspect of their menu. The price points were very reasonable as well. I plan to go back and sample more of the menu over the next few months. My friend has special diet requirements and her meal was adjusted to meet her needs. I can not recommend highly enough, as I look forward to returning.

great place

I love going here with friends for a few drinks and some dancing. It has a great variety of people

The Fahrenheit only good thing...

The Fahrenheit only good thing about it was leaving. Way over priced 500 dollars for: 20 minute wait for tap water 1 hour wait for food left under a heating element.

2 Mino size fish potions with 2 servings of mashed potatoes 1 pound of dry pan fried noodles with dried out shrimp to serve 3, 2 small squash, 2 1/4 pounds of raw hamburger with burnt buns and 2 salads.

Additional 20% for 6 or more people 20 dollar corking fee 36 dollars for 3 glasses of ice with a splash of bottom shelf liquor.

The lights are turned the down so you can’t see the small portions and dirty table clothes. No wonder why the restaurant is empty

You can’t make chicken soup out of chicken crap! Bring your own food and drink or eat and drink before you get there. Better yet don’t go there at all.

Gordon Ramsey where are you? The name says it all it’s hot in hell!

New chef is great!!!!

They recently hired a new chef from Napa who is redoing the entire menu to reflect his dedication to local, organic, slow food. Downtown San Jose is sorely lacking in this kind of restaurant, and ESPECIALLY at this price point. My bf and I stopped in for happy hour to check it out. He is gluten free, so we started to ask questions about the menu, and the chef came out and gave us his guidance on the menu, and also offered to modify many dishes for us. In the end, we asked him to serve us several dishes of HIS choice, and they were indeed fabulous. FRESH seaweed salad (OMG awesome, not like the slimy stuff at the store with the sushi), and the entrees were delicious. Most of the entrees are sub $20, so we can afford to go back often. Only downside is the newness of the menu-- he explained that there may be some hiccups in the service in the next couple of months as the servers and staff get used to the new menu and the new concept. We'll be back for the food. Can't speak to the club, never been there that late, but I think they have new management as well as a new chef, so the club may be run differently than in the past. We experienced excellent and personable service, but we were sitting in the bar fairly early on a weeknight.

Yea, the food is good. The music is pumping, this place turns into a hopping club after dinner. Feels weird and artificial though, maybe I am getting to old for the scene. But if you are looking for dinner and a party, this may be the place for you.

One word: TERRIBLE. In all aspects. If I could give negative stars to this establishment I most definitely would, I only put a star because you can't give zero. I paid for a table at this place and it was the worst experience I have ever had at a club. I have gotten tables and bottle service at many different clubs and this BY FAR is the WORST! I would not advise anyone to go there or to plan an event there. A group of friends and I got a $300 table for my birthday and they wouldn't let my party in before I got there, so they had to stand outside for 20 minutes in the cold. Then once I got there my friends that had taken the cab after me tried to get in and they made them stand outside in the line instead of letting them go in the VIP line. Then when the got to the front they told them they were 4 minutes late so they couldn't let them in! If they would have been let in as a VIP in the first place they would have been on time! The people at the door were the rudest people I have ever dealt with at a night club. We ended up leaving after being there less than a half-hour to go find the people who didn't get in. They charged us $100 gratuity on top of the $300 for the table and we got treated horribly and were only there for a half-hour, barely had a drink. The management is unprofessional and does not go the extra mile for you. I have emailed and called to try to get a refund and no one has contacted me back. So if you are looking at this place, don't. You'll get rude door people and terrible service all around.

The food was great but service was awful. I actually have one of those certificates from a website and as soon as the server saw that I have a certificate she made a face. The server looks really fake and not sincere at all. They should hire better waitresses or servers. But the food is great. My husband enjoyed his steak and my plate was okay.

worst place ever!

I went there for my birthday having made reservations in advanced, I got there about 5 minutes late and the girl at the front started giving us attitude, I had reserved for 6 but only 4 of us were there and would not sit us until everyone was there! she didnt even want to give us a table and offered the bar area at the upper level, I should of left but instead got a smaller table and just wanted to eat, the food and drinks were waaaaayyyyyyy over priced and not even that good, it was way too dark in there and I just wanted to get out of there still hungry and bummed for having chosen them to spend my b-day it sucked!!!!!!!!!!!

it was okay but it attracts the older crowd

I would have to say this place is very nice on the inside. Its a bit small but the lighting and atmosphere is good. Im not to thrilled about the music that they play there. I love motif better. This place attracts the older crowd. It was okay but it wouldnt be my first choice to go.
