This place has been around forever I've heard. I go here regularly every week for their Famous #52 I think. The Hu Tieu DaLat Dac Beit kho (Dry). So if this is your first time here you must try that. Everything else there is also the bomb but I need my Hu Tieu at least once a week or else I going into a panic and get an axiety attack. They are closed a few days a year for Chinese New year's so we went to another resteraunt called Nam Vang in the Alvin Center on Tully. Also a popular spot but just didn't h!t the spot like DaLat does. Again this place ain't exactly some place you wanna take someone to as a first date. But definitely as a 3rd or 4th date. Nice mellow spot you don't need to get dressed up. Don't be surprised if you run into your friends here tho as it seems like all the SJPD go here during their lunchtime. Highly Recommended!

I first visited this restaurant with my boyfriend. Not a very romantic place, but the food is awesome
!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND, the ""Won Ton Egg Noodle Soup (#50)."" Their soups are to DIE for. They have tons of stuff inside......very healthy. IT IS SO FRIGGIN GOOD. you won't regret it. You walk in...order from this HUGE widely ranged menu.... your choice of drinks usually come to you in a can, but can also order house drinks such as coconut drinks, tapioca, etc. Their plates are HUGE. On top of that, they place a plate of bean sprouts, jalapenos and limes to boost your entree up. They also can give you a free yummy bowl of their broth...if you choose. They are so friendly. I usually go to this restaurant about 3 times a week. IT'S THAT GOOD. I've never had such good healthy, filling food that sends me back wanting MOREEEE. All the garnish in these plates, I wonder how they can survive financially when you get so much fresh, healthly home food. DON'T BUY HOUSE CHICKEN AT THOSE CHEAP CHINESE STORES. THIS PLACE IS CHEAP. you can buy a plate (mind you....they hand out huge portions)...for under 6-7$. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT

Best tastings vietnamese food in town! They are always crowded during lunch and yet they give pretty decent service unlike most busy casual style restaurants. If there are only two of you and they are crowded with people and a table for 6 is open, they will still seat you there. They are mostly famouse for their noodle soup.

This place is not about the ambience. It's about the delicious and authentic Vietnamese food. The best place for Pho. And you must try the Mi Sate (egg noodles sauteed with thick beef sauce). Also try this dish substituting the beef with seafood or just shrimp. One of my absolute favorite dishes. Also very affordable.
