Combat Circuit is a dynamic, non-stop, 30-minute fitness program made with the purpose of putting bodies in motion and keeping them in motion. Designed to be the most efficient and convenient workout possible, the Combat Circuit training philosophy is based on maximizing bodily movement through mixed martial arts drills and cardio intervals.
The workout consists of ten 90-second cardio intervals alternated with ten 90-second rounds of various mixed martial arts (MMA) techniques, drills, and exercises. Each round calls for a different type of movement, ranging from striking combinations to grappling drills, and ballistic medicine ball slams to core exercises. Instead of promoting excessive muscle tension with heavy resistance, Combat Circuit exercises focus on motion and mobility through omni-directional and rotational movements to activate the muscles most commonly used in MMA.
Participants learn and practice the skills and movements most commonly used in MMA to improve their ability to move around, perform on a daily basis, or win a MMA fight.
