Below is review from another person at yelp (it is filtered for some reason) and here is my review from yelp as well: pretty much the exact same complaints as the first review. But also Clare may seem nice but don't ever insinuate that she made a mistake, she'll become condescending and rude and she ALWAYS blames the regional office for mistakes and makes excuses that people are out.
I have called regional (661) 663-5100 and they find that certain items not entered at all or incorrectly from local office--so it is a run around blame game but I have verified enough times to know that regional messes up on occasion but the vast majority of errors are local.
Clare suppossedly cancelled my multi-car policy and the automated payment for said policy as I got tired of the bull and switched to another insurance company--loyal discount be damned because the consistent errors were not worth it.
Well I followed up via email to make sure this was indeed done a couple of days later and she confirmed in email that they were cancelled.
Two months later and no longer a State Farm customer, the day before a family trip, I get the nice surprise of almost $200 dollars being taken out of my account and cutting into my trip budget! Why? Because Clare only cancelled one car of the multi-car and never cancelled the automated payment!!!
This and the below are NOT isolated incidents, they are common and like I said they will ALWAYS BLAME REGIONAL FOR THEIR MISTAKES WHICH NOT ONLY CAUSE INSANE DELAYS IN REIMBURSEMENT BUT ALSO STEAL YOUR MONEY UNLESS YOU OR REGIONAL CATCH THE ERROR!!
Horrible customer service!! Don't respond to emails and don't get the quotes right. Everytime I get a car insurance bill I have to call them and they then have to straighten it out with Statefarm. Such a hassle! The agent John is particularly inept. If you have comparable rates anywhere else, please stay away from these guys.
