you can find anything for an asian dish here. they have some regular groceries too. the produce is super cheap, and in the spring, when everything is in season, you can find fantastic deals, like 99 cent a pound bing cherries and 5 pounds for a dollar watermelons! all the asian ingredients are SUPER cheap. something that would cost you 4 or 5 bucks at a regular grocery store is generally under a dollar. kikoman soy sauce is 99 cents! hoisin sauce is like, $1.29! tofu is 79 cents a pound!! it is hard to find things if you have never been there, and it can be sort of overwhelming, but once you get the hang of finding things, it's a great place. just don't buy any seafood, it isn't very fresh.
This is supermarket that sells excellent quality of foods, meats, fish, ready to eat plates and wines. The vegetables are very fresh. They do carry a large quantity of organic vegetables. Their turkey's selection is the best and includes the farm free range raised and after baking they are tender juicy and exceptionally tasty. They carry a large selection of very high quality wines and they have a tasting counter, where you can taste many wines for just $2 fee. Even their shopping bags have a distinctive quality, not found in other supermarkets.
It has a little bit of something social. Wine & tasting, organic family, produce , herbs & meats/poultry w/butchers having excellent knowledge & others staff. Amazing deli & sweets! Full salad & nacho bar. Seniors % for salad bar during certain times. Fab wine sales & liquor tasting. My guilty pleasure is their variety of organic potatoe chips. Bit $$$ but worth it. Most Deff..Parking is horrific during the evenings!
If your looking for a wide of Mexican spices, treats, and kitchen tools this is the place to be . In the back they served all kinds of typical weekend dishes carnitas , gorditas, tamales, menudo . I bought tamales for a party they were very good . They also have a taco stand and charbroiled chickens they smelled so good . They are friendly and lots registers to get you out the door quickly.
They have a similar breadth of products as larger asian supermarkets but without the crowds. I recommend the large seafood section with fresh seafood (they even got a fryer). The meat is cheaper (& fresher) than most supermarket chains.
We prefer this little mom & pop shop over the other larger chains in the area. The family that owns this liquor store is the friendliest, not to mention they have awsome prices on beer and munchies! Oh, and they are open very late!
If you are looking for a fresh meat, cut to your specifications, this is the place to go. They have fresh goat, beef, chicken, veal or lamb. Ismail is always smiling and pleasant to deal with.
Perfect customer service ! The cashiers made sure I had everything that I needed to cook my dinner tonight and I appreciate their kindness goes a long way it made my day feel so much better
I like the big store with lots of refrigerators, and washers. and dryers here too. Love the carpet choices. Lots of flooring to choose from too.
