“I brought in my laptops hard drive which was nearly fried. I had all my photos, music, and documents on it and my father (who usually fixes my computer issues) couldn't even find a way to get in and back it up. Once he decided we've hit rock bottom, we left my hard drive with ClickAway to see what they could do for us. They offered us a free diagnostic to see if they could even recover the data. The next day, we got a call saying that it was unreadable and they had to try a few things to see if they can recover it. The chances were slim to none. At this point, I was convinced that all my files were gone forever but I still had my fingers secretly crossed. The next day, we got a call saying that they were actually able to recover my data and that I should come in with a hard drive (since I had one) so they transfer it back to me. I am very impressed by how professional, efficient, and hardworking they are. They literally tried everything they possibly could to save my information, even though the chances were less than slim and my hard drive was on the brink of death (it permanently died an hour after they were done!!). I really can't thank these guys enough for their services. I will recommend them to everyone I know and will be back in the future!”
I was stuck in Fremont with a "dead" laptop and little clue to what went wrong. I called around to some of the local computer repair shops and they pre-diagnosed it as a failed motherboard that would run me anywhere from $200-$500 to replace it...not to mention the time it would take to repair it (1-3 days). Luckily I called Chris Ward over at ClickAway and he let me know they would do the diagnosis for free (which was a relief because other places were charging around $30 just to look at it). Although it was a long drive, I decided to take the journey over to visit with him. Once I got there, I was in and out within 20 minutes. He diagnosed the issue immediately (bad battery) and had a new one in stock. He only charged me for the new battery, which was pricey at $140, but I was happy to pay. Hopefully I'll never have to visit ClickAway again, because it would mean my computer is stressing me out, but if I have any problems, I'll call Chris and his staff before anyone else. I should also mention that I have a MacBook; ClickAway specializes in and is an authorized dealer for both Mac and Lenovo (IBM PCs). OK, that sounded like a sales pitch, but it's good to know, right?
MY hard drive crashed and my computer was complete unable to boot up. Naturally i went to my local Frys to see if they could fix my computer but their prices were pretty high and pretty unhelpful in general. I went to another PC repair store next to my house but the owner seemed to know less about computers than i did so i left there in a hurry. After searching on yahoo, I found W Computer and repair and I am so happy that i did. James was so friendly and accommodating i decided to give them a try. After they were able to fix my computer my computer runs great and faster than before thanks to some additional software upgrades that they gave me for free. Great service , very reasonable pricing and they call right when your computer is done . A+ 5 stars !
