Lennon is a great rehearsal space for both bands and solo musicians. They offer 3 different size rooms available for rent in 3 hour blocks at competitive SF rates. They are fairly well sound-proofed but you can hear the band next door sometimes if they happen to be rockers. If you play quieter music, you may want to ask beforehand to make sure you don't end up in a situation that could be distracting while you're trying perform. They're usually accommodating. If they have other spaces available, they are willing to move you if you want. All rooms have a decent PA system. The larger rooms have a small drum riser as well. They even offer a sound stage room which is like a small club with PA system, full-size stage, and lighting. If you're in a full-time band and need a lock-out space where you can leave your equipment as well as practice on your own schedule, Lennon offers that too. They have a few size rooms. There are a bunch of bands already in there but it's often that a band needs someone else to share their space to help keep the rent affordable. You can call them to see what they have available and what the rates are. For those needing equipment storage, Lennon has some lockers available for rent to musicians who practice there consistently. I think you need to practice at least 4 times a month but they may have changed that policy? Speaking of equipment, Lennon also has a variety of equipment for rent depending on your needs. The Lennon staff is friendly and helpful. Give them a call to find out more.
Worlds Greatest Record Store!!! This is the worlds greatest record store... hands down. In my travels I have been to a lot of records stores and since the corporations took over most stores in the 80's and now the digital age has since closed most of them, it is nice to still have a place to thumb through some old albums and talk music with others who have the same love for the old school record store.
Their amps are the best! I just bought one last year and it still rocks like new. Probably, I'll be looking at their keyboards next month. Planning to buy one for my composing.
This music studio is spacious. We can move freely. The owners are so flexible. They even agreed to extend beyond their operaring hours with no extra charge for overtime use.
One of the great music and video stores in the country. I defy you to leave empty-handed. I make it a point to visit every time I'm in the area, and I'm never disappointed.
What i love in this studio is that they also have band instruments that we can rent. The owners are also nice and accomodating. Its location is very accessible.
They have different types of instruments here, so if you are looking for a particular one, you'll sure not get dissapointed. The staffs are also helpful.
Great organized selection of vinyls new and used. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful ,giving you suggestions on other artists you might enjoy.
As a musician, I don't settle for instruments with poor quality. They got good guitars here. I can tell not only by the brand but also by experience.
I was planning to purchase an upright piano and I am planning to buy it here. Upon reading the reviews, I think that they are a good music store.
