Sotto Mare Oysteria & Seafood

We accidently went to this restaurant. We had reservations for the restaurant next door but when we walked into Gigi's we decided to stay. We LOVED the atmosphere and the food. Never got the name of the hostess (she is the sister-in-law of the owner) but she was fabulous! We sat at the counter and enjoyed the food (delicious) and our chats with the hostess and Elias, one of the cooks. We will tell everyone we know to go to Gigi's if they go to San Francisco.

Gigi's is a must restaurant to visit and experience....located on Green Street in North Beach, it's consistently quality seafood...fresh and fabulously prepared...either Picata-style, grilled, or fried....love the clam chowder and shrimp and crab salad! Very casual, but Gigi, the colorful proprietor, makes your usual wait in line a fun time for all...small, but great seafood ....I thoroughly encourage any and all of you who may read this review, to give Gigi's a try.....you will have a great time, and a wonderful meal...lunch or dinner!
