They have amazing desserts especially the beignets and peanut butter one. Small space but great for a date night.

It's 11:30 at night and you're craving good food. What are you gonna do?! Now instead of going to a diner, I go to Sauce. Chef Ben serves his full menu until at least midnight (sometimes 2am) seven nights a week. My favorites are the Tomato Bisque and Crab Wontons, yum. Thanks Ben!

Even though from the outside, it doesn't look like much, looks can be deceiving. \r <br>\r <br>Forget thinking about the decor because it is not what shines here. What I was excited about with this restaurant was all the little ""Social"" plates that they had to offer. We had practically the entire menu!\r <br>\r <br>The carpaccio came out on bite sized perfectly seasoned little toasts ready for you to just pick up and bite into. The steak wraps also were wrapped up for you and ready for your eating pleasure, in the cutest little lettuce cups that you could hold in your hand! Also the salads were full size portions, the pear one had a pink dressing that we liked, and though the beet salad was good there wasn't anything about it to make it different than any other beet salad we've had. The shrimp and chili sauce were large shrimps with the yummiest dipping sauce, I almost ate the whole thing myself and forgot to share......tomato bisque came in a HUGE dish considering how heavy the soup was, buy it was yummily flavored and paired well with foccacia bread grilled cheese sandwiches. The only official entree we ordered was the butterfish with a cornmeal topping which was perfect, on top of a bed of mashed cauliflower, then surrounded with a yummy fresh vegetable salad that had squash in it! \r <br>\r <br>If I hadn't been so full I would have tried the bacon wrapped meatloaf and the mac and cheese, both were also calling my name. Along with the dessert menu, everything looked delicious!!!

We went on a Sunday night and were pleased to see that they had a discount on wine purchased by the bottle. They also had a 3 course menu at a fair price. Loved the interiors. There's a room in the back with a bar, and a main dining room to the left as you enter. That's where we sat. Good appetizers, I loved my MacNCheese entree...Dessert was just ok..not great. Wine was delicious.

I was looking for a soft, casual and comfortable setting to enjoy top notch comfort food and left absolutely satisfied. In particular, the tomato bisque plated with fancy grilled cheese sandwich slices took me back to my childhood like that critique in Ratatouille - simply amazing. Also, the untraditional mac and cheese with fresh pasta melted in my mouth and was supported by just the right amount of cheese. Would not recommend the cheese and ham tater-tots - they sound much better than they are. Finally, while limited in scope, the wine list is spot on for this kind of food and very reasonably priced at ~50% markup over retail versus the 100% we see at most places in the city.

This is our second time here and as per the first time, really good food. Lots of interesting choices and all equally as good. The only issue was we sat in the back of the restaurant and we were the only group for a while and it makes for minimal ambiance. But we had a group of 6 so we managed to entertain ourselves. The other issue was the service. Our waitress was very nice but she always came over right in the middle of a conversation and talked over everyone to ensure she was heard. She did this many time throughout the night and we all found it a bit rude and unnecessary. Also, for 6 of us she recommended 8 social plates and 3-4 entrees which was ludicrous. We ordered 8 social plates amongst a group of big eaters and were more than satisfied. I hate it when wait people tell you to order more than you need just to get you to spend more money. I suggest ordering in groups of 2-4 and stop when you are getting full or else you will spend a lot of money with a lot of food leftover. However, all in all I highly recommend this restaurant and will go back again.

Smells delicious upon entry, excellent service, extensive wine list, and a paired down, simply delicious comfort food-based menu. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere juxtaposed by but removed enough from a casual bar scene.

I went there yesterday using Dine About Town and I was not that impressed with the food for the most part. My boyfriend got the meatloaf, but the chef seemed to forget the ""loaf"" part because it was 100% ground beef wrapped in bacon...extremely dissapointing. I got the salmon which was better but a little overcooked and the balsamic vinegarette was overpowering. I did enjoy the PB&J dessert and the cinnamon doughnuts. The place got extremely loud as the place was filling up, so if you want a quiet dinner, this is not the place. I give it one star for the service (waitress was really nice) and one more star for the desserts.
