        Overall

        Probably one of the best shops in town when it comes to serving quality coffee. I definitely love their blends.

        Incredible coffee. There are a lot of gifted people behind that counter. I love the frappe from here as well, a good buy if it’s hot outside.

        You will be hard-pressed to find a better LOCAL SEAFOOD spot in San Francisco!

        Go ahead, try to find a better spot. And IF (note that I didn't say WHEN) you do, come back and respond to this review, and I promise I will give your recommended spot a fair shake.



        Date / date-night? This is your spot! Just the two of you... this is how your evening will go (for the most part):

        1. Wait for a seat outside, with some free wine as the fog rolls in (iconically San Francisco)

        2. Move inside as the wait time diminishes; enjoy more free wine in a warm ambiance

        3. Get pleasantly surprised as your name is announced, and you walk over to your table with your wine-glasses that were topped off only recently

        4. Order off the special menu, or the regular menu; they will cook to order too! You can't go wrong with anything. Trust me. I have had everything on their menus.

        5. Beyond this, what you do, is entirely up to you. But make sure to thank Pacific Cafe for an excellent start to the evening...

        best seafood in the city

        I've been a regular at Pacific Cafe for years. It is by far the best sea food in the city, maybe even the best on the Peninsula. Always fresh, my favorits is the halibut parmesean. It is small and cozy with a very comfortable atmosphere. Expect to wait, sometimes up to an hour (or more on the weekend) but (and this is the best part) the friendly host will serve you free house wine while you wait!

        Pacific Cafe opened July 4th, 1974 at the corner of 34th Ave. & Geary Blvd. in San Francisco's Richmond district. We serve dinner Wednesday through Sunday from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Our menu and extensive daily specials offer a wide variety of fish and shellfish. Each entree includes Boudin sourdough bread, your choice of soup or salad, and a side of rice, french fries, or vegetable. We do not accept reservations, but guests receive a glass of complimentary wine with their dinner!
