This place is great to have a meeting with a group of friends. I noticed several cocktail events going on while I was in the back with a book meetup. We all ordered beer and few of us ordered food. The fries looked deliciously seasoned, but the topper of the night was the chicken quesadilla. It was over flowing with goodies! The waitress was great. She never forgot about us which I was surprised she didn't because of... view moreLike this review?Yes|Flag AbuseProvided by Citysearch

I stayed over christmas + would you believe I left the car for 5-10 mins parked outside so that I can check into the hotel, and the Valet people outside said we MUST leave our keys with them. So we did, a little hesitant, +guess what. THEY STOLE OUR RADAR DETECTOR!. We left our car parked in a different location, no sign of break in AT ALL, and this hotel would not admit that they stole it. This detector was left in ... view moreLike this review?Yes|Flag AbuseProvided by Citysearch
My husband and I stayed numerous times at the Marriott in fourth street in SF. We always enjoyed our stay there!\r We were not impressed with the staff at the JW Marriott When we arrived we carried our own luggage inside the building ,While staff members watched .Oh they did open our car door. We placed our bags on a bell mans cart . As a matter of fact ,All the Staff were pushy for tips even for a bucket of ice W... view moreLike this review?Yes|Flag AbuseProvided by Citysearch
This is a newer Marriott. Used to be the Pan Pacific. Very nice rooms, and MArriott will be adding new touches, so it will be better. But you can't beat the location! Only one block from Union Square. The hotel staff was all very friendly and attentive.Like this review?Yes|Flag AbuseProvided by Citysearch
Was here on convention and enjoyed the stay. The room was a double and the bathroom was larger than those with only a king bed. The valet button was great and they would attend to all you needed. The beds and pillows were amazingly comfortable, I did not have trouble sleeping at all. There was construction going on during our stay on the floor below us that was very loud in our room and was annoying. Loved the p... view moreLike this review?Yes|Flag AbuseProvided by Citysearch
The Pan Pacific is the best kept secret in San Francisco. Barbara, Director of Catering and the hotel staff gave us the royal treatment in planning our event. Our wedding reception was hosted in the terrace room and we loved the intimacy of the space. The reception was facilitated by the hotel staff with absolute professionalism. The food was outstanding and the service impeccible. Our out of town guests lov... view moreLike this review?Yes|Flag AbuseProvided by Citysearch
Pacific goes beyond the normal hotel dining experience. I disagree with those that belittle it for being a 'hotel lobby restaurant'. It's a very elegant and comfortable hotel lobby. Also, the chef has changed since the editorial review was done, and the new chef, Charles Hechinger, formerly of Boulevard, knows what he's doing in a kitchen. The service was also great. It felt like servers and management were ther... view moreLike this review?Yes|Flag AbuseProvided by Citysearch
The Pan Pacific has always given me and friends the royality treatment ,holding the door every time you enter or leave the building. Sometimes With dogs sometimes at 4am. Ice cream when you get in or a toothbrush, soap, towels, etc. at any hour. Every person I have ever told about the Pan Pacific has always stayed there repeatedly..Like this review?Yes|Flag AbuseProvided by Citysearch
Not a very exciting or interesting hotel. Rooms were too small and nothing exciting or interesting offered in them. Too much art-deco over-done drama and not enough elegance, space and comfort. Beds were uncomfortable. Rooms were stocked with very standard, uninteresting products and furnishings. The little gym was substandard and well below expectations. Restaurant food was good but service was poor. Nice to... view moreLike this review?Yes|Flag AbuseProvided by Citysearch
