One more thing ,I so miss their beautiful fish tank with colorful fish! Must try & take a look!
This is my favorite place to go in Chinatown. The food and service have been perfect everytime I have eaten there in the last 10 years. The Pot Stickers, and house chow mein are great, but the sweet and sour pork and hot & sour soup are world class. The owner has a great sense of humor. 5-star for our entire family.
I read one or two reviews that people had written regarding, ""Hunan's"". I also asked myself how hard could it be to screw up food in Chinatown. I found an entree on the menu that sounded familiar. I ordered it along with an ice tea. In no less than three minutes, viola, fresh out of the microwave comes my Hunan Chicken and my ""steamed"" rice. The food tasted average. It did not taste fresh at all. To the best of my knowledge there was not one entree for less than $10.50. T...view morehe tea was delivered unsweetened. (They asked if I wanted sweetened or unsweetened) No sweetner or sugar. The meal with the tea was $15 and change. Over-priced microwaved food. My suggestion? Don't spend your money at this place.view less
we, 2 adults went there with 2 kids. The dish amount is very small. we ordered not so many because we planned having Dim Sum in 5 hrs. So the waitress served us with angry faces and tried to take the unfinished dishes away times at the end of the dinner. We have to finish very quickly. We won't back there and won't introduce it to our friends.
A group of friends ate there one weekend and one of them felt sick. I also found there are too much MSG in the food, and greasy. Wonder how often they change the cooking oil, esp. the fried grill. Service is not there as well. We would not go back there again.
