This San Francisco landmark restaurant has been popping corks and serving up delicious cuts of meat for 25+ years. Harris' wine list is a Tour De Force that is comprised of over 500+ selections. There are a number of great bottles priced below $100, and they have some absolutely stunning bottles at higher prices. If you have the time and money, then I recommend you stop into this restaurant once a week for a year and work your way through the wine list. As with all VinoServant reviews, you will see the price at the restaurant followed by the mark-up over retail (Roederer Estate, Brut, Anderson Valley, Sparkling Wine | $41 | 2.2x | This translates into a retail price of $18).

VINOSERVANT?S TOP WINE VALUES AT HARRIS? Very horrible service in this restaurant. We went on Tuesday everything was great. On Thursday last night of being in town. We decide to go again. The service is terrible. They get our orders wrong, So of course 1 is done long before the other one. The waitress doesn't even bother to fill our drinks or check how our food is. The manager offers deserts or some stupid nonsense. When I'm paying 50 plus dollars for a meal I except not only good service but Great Service with little or no errors. This place should be avoided at all costs.

We had went to area to go to House of Prime Rib, which was a total waste of time, loud, dirty bathrooms, rude service, wait ridiculous. Went down to Harri's greeted pleasantly seated promptly, served professioally. Clean bathrooms, piano music, good enviroment.

Dined at Harri's two nights ago. Waiter thought he was God's gift to Men..Wrong !\r
I ordered lamb chops to be prepared with fresh garlic. Order came, no seasoning at all. \r
The waiter could not be found..The gal who takes care of the coatroom offered to take back the food and have \r
another order prepared.\r
\r
I've been to the finest restaurants. This place isn't in that league.
