It's a great hotel for budget travelers. There are lots of bars and restaurants nearby. It is in the heart of San Frans Chinatown and the bar that Jack Karouac used to hang out in (Vesuvio) is within walking distance! The room itself was great, the bed was comfy and the shower was pretty good also. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone!

The room is bright and clean. The location is perfect (right at downtown). The staff is friendly and helpful. You got a nice view from the windows. It also has a huge closet for your clothes. My friend and I have a really wonderful experience staying there.

This diamond in the rough is superbly located a few blocks above Pravda, Brooks Bros, etc, and close to the #30 bus to Fisherman's' Wharf, Museums, etc. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, let us leave our things several hours before actual check in time. They gave us a large room on the sixth floor, in stained glass heaven, after I had asked about the beautiful windows. Park diagonally across the street is perfect for `picnics.'

If you want to be in the heart of China Town-location is great. Rooms were decent and clean-nothing fancy, but I was there to hang out in the City, not my room, so it served it's purpose. The front desk manager will tell you great places to go to really get the China Town experience, he was very helpful and friendly.

Location! I would highly recommend this hotel simply because of the prime location of this hotel. It is situated inside Chinatown and is walking distance to Union Square. If you are on a budget, then look no further. It is the best deal money can buy.

This hotel is at a prime location in Chinatown and right next door to Union Square. All the bus and street car lines are close by.\r \r The rates are reasonable for the quality of the building. Otherwise, everything is clean (I'm especially picky about the bathroom) and the people at the front desk are very nice and helpful.
