Episcopal Community Services, also known as ECS, is an organization that offers a range of housing, job and shelter services for homeless and low-income individuals. Founded in 1982, it operates various shelters that provide meal, shower, laundry and health care services for homeless adults. The organization maintains Next Door, which is a shelter that offers respite care and support services for individuals with HIV/AIDS and developmental disabilities. Episcopal Community Services Winter Interfaith Shelter provides meal and lodging assistance for nearly 100 men. It also operates The Sanctuary, which is a chelter that conducts various activities on HIV prevention, drugs, relationships, depression and tuberculosis screening.
