My Dad, Dan Harrington worked here when he was younger and brought me to Bravo since I can remember. I might have moved away from San Fran, but the taste of Bravo Pizza always lingers in my mind. Not only do they have the best pizza (without all the uptight and ""frilly"" qualities of our more modern take on pizzas), but they also have an amazing wait staff and manager! Pete is the real deal, he gets down and dirty and never count out the hard working cooks. Make sure to go to this place when you get a chance!
P.S. (their ranch is also one of my favorites).
It is my favorite because I enjoy thick crust pizza, and so when I order my pizza, I ask them to make it thick crust. When I get it, it is the thickest crusted pizza I have ever seen, and it is sooo good!! The topings are good too ofcourse. But I go nuts over the crust.

This is one of two favorite pizzerias in SF. I've been eating here since before i can remember. My dad would eat here when he was in highschool and that was 30+ years ago. the pizza is beyong delicious, can't even describe it, you HAVE to try it! There is no other like it. Their italian dressing is also very good. I like dipping the crust into this dressing. If you haven't eaten hear, your missing out!

I love this place. I went there at 2am one night on a Saturday and had a great pizza. I think it was called the CUTE GREEK...WOW...It's been my favorite after work hang out ever since for a quick bite. The owner Pete is a funny guy and very hospitable...(but doubt he is the cute greek the pizza was named after)

this place is discriminatory- I've been living in this neighborhood for YEARS and they refused to deliver in my neighborhood because of so -called 'problems- however, the two pizza parlors that are less than a block from them deliver here and they have NO problem.. sounds sketchy to me. Good pizza does not excuse scared behavoir and discriminating ones at that....get a clue or get out of the neighborhood! hello!

If you want some really great pizza and great food at a great value, then make sure you check out Bravo Pizza. They've been in the same location forever it seems, and walking into the restaurant, well you'll feel like you've been there before. With it's eclectic decor and funky red vinyl booths, it would classify on the divey side, not the yuppie side. But don't be fooled, their pizza is simply the best, especially if you are looking for a real pizza and not a ""designer"" pizza. This pizza has a real good tasting crust, and the pizza is not skimpy on the toppings at all, like other places that might count the number of olives, or slices of pepperoni, these guys pile the fresh toppings on. Simply the best. Don't confuse them with any other place, this is the original and only Bravo's Pizza.

I've never had a meal inside the restaurant.. I've always picked up or had the pizza delivered.. Speaking of which, delivery isn't free, which is about the only negative I have about this place. The dough has a nice texture and crunch to it. The sauce is pretty good. Always good heaps of toppings. Try the Mission or Bravo Special.. Terrific!
