        What a wonderful place for a starting Mexican food lover like me. The flavors of the food is milder compared to others, in my opinion that is much better.

        Salvador Vazquez opened this business on March 17, 1965 with hopes to successfully provide for his family. Over 40 years later, he, along with his family, still own and operate Belmar Meat Market, La Gallinita, adopting many loyal customers as family mem members throughout the years. We have always been here in the great city of San Francisco serving it eagerly and proudly. We have always ran our business by listening to our customers and relying on the their satisfaction.         We specialize in Latin American products, all cuts of beef, pork, chicken, lamb, and goat. We do catering for any size event and serve Mexican, American, and other types of Latin American dishes. Our delicatessen serves various types of authentic soups and dishes everyday. Come and also try our tacos served on Thursday and Friday 5-10pm, Saturday 9am - 11pm, and Sunday 9am - 6pm. We never say no to the customer, if we don't have, we are able to get it usually within a days time. We have been proudly serving our community for 40 years and will continue to do so for as long as you let us.
