My mother needed the help of an assisted living home. It was recommended to look into the LifeHOUSE assisted living facility. They were the nicest, kindest staff anyone could hope for. The treated all there patients with kindness and caring compassion. They treated my mother with respect and saw to any and all her needs. In the past, I have had my mother in one other assisted living facilty and they didnt get her meds right and she spend the whole time in withdrawal. There was none of this. She stayed clean and happy the whole time and if the time comes that I need another assisted living facility I will, for sure be back. I would recommend this place strongly.

Its becoming increasingly rare to find a family run nursing home that is willing to push alternatives to hospice care. The building is undergoing a total remodel, and almost every employee there seems to have been there forever. If you can evaluate a facility for it's potential to care for your loved one, it's focus within the industry, and it's excellent location (easy central access from all areas of san diego, and several hospitals no more than BLOCKS away (should an emergency arise), then give a call here and get to know them. Good people.
My mother is living at Life House. She is always clean and well groomed. They have a large activity room with events going all day. If no event is happening, then movies are shown. On Sundays they have church services throughout the day. My mother is never left in her room to sit by herself. I am notified by phone of any changes in my Mother's health; what the doctor's diagnosis and recommendation to correct the issue at hand. The caregivers and professional staff are outstanding. The level of kindness shown to the patients is remarkable,
