March 2, 2012. Kevin Tran was my salesman for my new 2012 Chrysler 300 purchased a week ago. He is very knowledgeable about the various new models offered by Chrysler Motors. Kevin is also a great resource regarding the various models and their unique specifications. Ultimately, I chose the base 300 car with leather and the better transmission. What I liked and admired about Kevin the most, is that he is helpful and has a very easy going nature. He is not pushy, just very caring! Hermond Morad is the sales manager that I worked with in purchasing my new car. Unlike most sales managers, Hermond is jovial, helpful, talented and a terrific communicator – genuinely a joy to get to know. Importantly, I liked the fact that he was willing to be very competitive to earn my business. I had done my research ahead of time and knew exactly what other dealers throughout California and even Washington were offering on the Dodge Charger and the Chrysler 300. Hermond earned my business and I am extremely happy with the price. Adolpho Villanueva was my finance guy that I worked with and he too was a joy to work with. He smiled the whole time even though it was midnight on a Friday. I had taken my time to evaluate all of my options on a Dodge Charger versus a Chrysler 300 for my specific car and negotiate the price. Adolpho got me excellent financing with Chase Bank and was very friendly as well. My Chrysler 300 has the 8-speed transmission with the 3.6 liter 6-cylinder Pentastar engine that gets amazing gas mileage on REGULAR fuel. It has an incredibly smart interior, superior electronics, excellent safety features, has very well-built construction and is luxurious. All of this while having a very reasonable price. It cost about half of what the 2012 Audi A6 was going to cost me. The A6 was my original choice for a new sedan. When it came done to signing the sales contract, I just could not justify the expense of the Audi A6 which operates on PREMIUM fuel and honestly does not look that much better. I had never owned a Chrysler, Dodge or Jeep product before. However, Avis had rented me a 2011 Dodge Charger on a recent 2,100 mile business trip. I was so impressed with that car, that I knew I had to look at Chrysler products when I bought a new sedan. My 2012 Chrysler 300 lacks nothing in comparison to ultra-luxury brands that I have owned. I am a “Car Guy,” “Car Nut”, car enthusiast and don’t want to brag, but I have extensive experience with many luxury and ultra-luxury automobile brands. Over 3 decades, I have been fortunate enough to afford to purchase an Audi A8L, a Bentley Turbo R, 4 Lincoln Continentals, 3 Jaguar XJ sedans, 3 Roll-Royce motorcars and 2 Volvo sedans. I only mention this because my expectations of a new car dealership are extremely high. Rancho Chrysler Dodge Jeep does not disappoint! Although the facilities are not as nice as those ultra-luxury brands and honestly need to be updated, it is the people in the dealership that really matter to me. Kevin Tran, Hermond Morad and Adolpho Villanueva have made a very favorable impression on me. I would not hesitate to recommend Rancho Chrysler Dodge Jeep to any of my friends. My experience at Pacific Honda, certified cars lot, today was most pleasant, from my first phone call, verifying if the car (Honda Fit) I wanted to look at was still on the lot, to the final handshakes with the salesman (Brett Rickie) and the finance manager (Jaime Jimenez). The person who took my phone call knew that the car was on the lot and suggested I speak to Lenny, the manager. He also took my name. Lenny recognized my name when I showed up. That was nice. Lenny entrusted me to Brett who came with me for a test drive and described the car's features at length. There was a second Honda Fit on the lot, which I did not know of. Seeing that I was interested in that second car, Brett offered to take it for a test drive also, the same route we took for the first one. I thought he might want to go a shorter distance since this was my second test drive. After all, how many cars can one test, and how much time should a salesman give to one customer? I am aware that time matters. I myself hate to have someone get me to waste my time. Once in the office, it was most pleasant to do business with Brett. Of course, I know that his goal is to get as much as possible, while mine is to spend as little as possible. I have been quite uncomfortable before under similar circumstances. Even coming out the winner can be unpleasant when the atmosphere is tense, more so when I am not really sure that I really did win anything. At least that's how I live such moments. I do know people who just revel in this tug of war type of situation. I certainly don't, and that's why it was so pleasant to drive off the lot with the car. Brett listened well to my view of the deal. I never felt like he was out to get me. Since I did not have an active insurance policy, having placed mine on hold two months earlier after giving up my car and deciding to wait a while before I bought another one, he offered me, for free, a three day insurance coverage so that I could drive home with the car today. Now I simply have to call my insurance on Monday. Great service! Great attention to the client! He obtained a new set of car mats for me, filled the tank with gas, had the car cleaned outside and inside, walked me to the finance manager who provided the same quality of professional and personal service. Yes, I know, this is what we have come to expect from any public service, but sometimes I can feel that the person is just going through the moves, does not care really. That was not the case at Pacific Honda today. Jaime in finance treated me equally well. His explanations for each form signed were very clear. He advised me on a good deal for the security system. There too, I never felt one second that I was being taken advantage of. The mix of good professionalism and personal attention was perfect. It will be pleasant to go back if ever I need to. It's the small things, the personal attention, that make Life a fun and big experience. That was my kind of experience today. Thanks Pacific Honda.
My search for a new factory ordered pickup truck started nearly three years ago. During my search I spoke to numerous sales people from the three main manufacturers, Ford, Chevy and Dodge. I would say that about 20% of the sales people knew there product from a technical perspective. The remaining 80% either BS’d me on my questions or simply never got back to me. Eventually I settled on a Ford F350 diesel and my search to refine the factory build spec and the dealership that I would buy the truck began. I spoke to Ford dealers from Michigan, to Texas, to Arizona and Northern California. Some were technically good and offered me a reasonably price. However the best salesperson and the best dealership that I found was Barry Greenblatt at Kearney Pearson Ford This was amazing considering that I live in San Diego and was very willing to get on a plane to pickup my new truck. Barry was technically very good. I was asking him some very difficult technical questions. If he didn’t know then he did not BS me, he would research and would promptly get back to me with the answer. My Questions continued for a LONG time, he never relented on giving me premium service. He was never pushy, and always extremely professional and friendly. The pricing that he gave me was competitive with anywhere that I found in the United States. All of the staff that I ever dealt with during my purchase at Kearney Pearson were also extremely helpful and professional. On the day that we collected the truck we had to meet with the finance people. Having bought a new car before I was dreading this. Other dealerships will tell you things like “Unless you have this teflon treatment then your car is going to look terrible in a year” etc etc and give you the hard sell on extended warranty’s. Kearney Pearson was nothing like that!.. It was a very pleasant experience!.. in the end I had to ask him about an extended warranty which I did in fact buy because he tailor made it for me. As far as after sales is concerned they continue to be amazing… extremely helpful. Even Barry who has his sale done, continues to make himself readily available to answer any questions that I may have, and help with anything! All in all I highly recommend Kearney Pearson Ford!
