I've been shopping at this store for over 12 years now. These guys have been around since the 70's or something, and I think that this store retains that old-school sort of guitar store vibe. Theyre a real no bulls&%$ kind of store, and they break things down honestly, which is a good thing to me. I never feel like I'm being lied to by these guys, and they really know their stuff. They have a lot of different guitars, and an especially impressive selection of Gibson stuff around mid-summer(right now). The acoustic section they have is also really nice, with a slew of Taylors, a couple Gibsons and Martins, and the usual other suspects. I've never left this place without buying SOMETHING, especially because they are really up-to-date with what's cool in the pedal world. I had to get a second pedalboard to hold all the pedals I've bought from these guys in the last 2 years because they've always got something new in the case that I just have to have. These guys are awesome. Check em out and ask for Lauren or Jamie, they'll hook you up.
I've purchased instruments, bows, accessories, supplies and musical gift items at this business and always come away very satisfied. Greg is also a master luthier who keeps my instruments in top condition. He and Lois treat their customers with tremendous respect and courtesy, and if they don't stock an item they can usually get it very quickly. I've become a regular customer and a friend.
Excellent music shop. They listen to their customers and make great recommendations. Just installed new strings that transformed my violin into a new instrument. Give them a try. So affirming that businesses like this still exist.
