General Info:
There are a lot of entertainment choices out there but only one that has captured the basic desire of everyone to ""be"" the entertainment. The Shouthouse Piano Bar is located in the heart of San Diego's Gaslamp District and offers fun for any occasion! ROCK 'N ROLL / SING-A-LONG / DUELING PIANOS Dueling Pianos are two piano players/singers performing at two, face to face grand pianos in front of two large mirrors performing the classic rock 'n roll hits from the 1950s to the present. It's request driven by the audience and with the use of multiple teams, goes non-stop all night. IT'S A CELEBRATION OF LIFE AT THE TOP OF ONES LUNGS! It's the great music hits of all time combined with great showmanship, energy and comedy. Watching the people, watch the people . . . It's worth the price of admission alone!

Success! Thanks for posting your review of The Shout! House. You’ve done the world some good today.

A really great time

Of all the typical downtown bars and clubs to shout house definitely stands out to me. It's a really good time without all of the pretentious attitude. It's almost impossible not to have fun here.

Dueling Piano bar

You are sure to have a great time if you like dueling piano bars. The amount of energy that is going on at any given moment during their performances is fantastic, and to be a part of it is overwhelming. You simply can't get enough of the live entertainment at this place.

Most Outragous Bar in San Diego

I have lived in San Diego now for 5 years and I dont normally go downtown because its to expensive. But after going to the Shout House for my 21st birthday 3 years ago I wont go anywhere else. Just walking by this bar after the piano's start playing you can feel the energy and excitment radiating from the building. If you like music, being loud, and fun this is the place you need to go!!! The staff is always freindly... view more

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place...other guy doesn't know what he is talking about

So the guy who said he couldn't get in because he didn't have his passport, well duh! like anyone excepts a foreign DL to get in anywhere...hello this isn't europe BRING the correct ID and you'll get in. How can you write a review on a place if you never got inside. plus it sounds like he just wanted to bag on everyone that night. I have to say that everytime I go to the shout house the people are so nice and fun! I... view more

Don't waste your time with these guys - San Diego has plenty of better alternatives

I had the unfortunate experience last night of having organised to meet friends at this place, having flown in from Europe to celebrate my 30th birthday. My girlfriend and I didn't even get in the door because I didn't have my passport with me, despite having a European drivers license, residence card and various other forms of ID. We asked to see the manager but the security guy at the door claimed to *be* the manag... view more

Rude Service

They pack the place on weekends so don't expect to get good service when they could easily fill your seat with another victim, uh, customer. In addition to the $10 cover for everyone if you have a party of 8 or more you will be charged 18% gratuity whether you like it or not - whether they deserve it or not - whether you have 8+ people on your tab or everyone is paying separately. At restaurants it's clear who is i... view more

Great during the week....

Awesome place to go unwind after work. AWESOME drink specials, good beer and a fun atmosphere. The ""dualing pianos"" idea is really fun, they let the audience request songs and everybody gets really involved. Slightly older crowd, but a good place to meet people!

The Shout! House - Rock n' Roll, Sing a Long, Dueling Piano Bar - THEY ROCK!

If you want to do something totally different while in San Diego where it is a casual atmosphere, great entertainers, awesome food, great staff and just an overrall good time...this is the place to go. The entertainers are incredible...they must know thousands of songs from the 50's, 60's to current alternative music because they play everything that is requested by the audience...or at least they fake it pretty go... view more
