SuperWok are fast as most chinese restaurants go. Do not be looking for a pupu platter or "dinners" with combo apps and rice. This is strictly a la carte. All on the menu is between $5 and $9. The wonton soup was ok, noodle a bit overcooked. Large container for 2ppl(min order)@$5.55 Lots of chicken in the lo mein but noodles are thick and starchy and quite oily. There are some vegetables in the lo mein: onions and sprouts. $5.55 Eggrolls are tiny and just cabbage. $2. They don't give sweet and sour sauce instead something orange vinegar based.,,but they do give out a couple of fortune cookies with each order. My friend liked the crispy garlic chicken but commented on the chow mein being too greasy. Is there great chinese in the pb area?

OMG! If you haven't eaten here you must be crazy. Best chinese I've ever tasted. Their crispy garlic chicken is to die for. Never seen it on any other menu in any other place. I think it's a secret family reciepy. The fried rice is out of this world too. You must try this small mom and pop joint where they make everything fresh to order. I recommend you call in your order first unless you want to wait 15 minutes, I don't mind. You'll never want to eat chinese anywhere else.

Don't let the look fool you
After reading the other review posted for Super Wok we had to give it a shot. The hole-in-the-wall location and the interior definately won't draw you inside. The food will however keep you coming back for more. The portions are large and the food is great. They have some great lunch deals but the prices are very reasonable anytime you go. This is a definate must-have when you stay in the Pacific Beach area.

If you live in the beach area this is a great quick Chinese takeout spot. Everytime you call in an order it will be ready within 15 minutes regardless of how busy they are. The menu has everything and mst expensive item is probably $11.
