We ate here on New Years Eve -- had a reservation -- and waited 20 minutes to be seated. The table we got was out in the middle of the aisle -- we were not happy to say the least. We would have spent the evening having servers and other guests running into our table all night. We were getting ready to request a new table when another group requested a new table -- they had a table right up against the window --which to us was the perfect table. Our server noticed we weren't happy with our table and asked us if we wanted to switch to the other table -- so we got a great table.
The food was good -- although the salads were definitey rushed. You could tell they were trying to get people out that night. But I don't pay that kind of money to be rushed out. So once they served us the main course -- we took our time to eat.
One thing was strange --- we've been to at least 20 Ruth's Chris restaurants all over the country -- and this is I believe the first one that didn't have sin cake. My husband was disappointed as that is his favorite.
My steak was a bit on the fatty side, and they were not served sizzling -- which is irratating. You just know they are sitting back there waiting to be served. I order my steak med. rare so it can finish cooking on the plate -- but when it's not sizziling when it comes out -- then it doesn't finish cooking all the way.... so that was another disappointment.
Overall we have had many other great meals at other RC restaurants -- and even at this location before. I think because of the holiday they were packed and that made the meal suffer a little. Too bad they can't maintain the same level of service/food quality when they are super busy as when they have just a normal night.

Ruth Chris is by far one of my favorite place to eat, but not this one! I've ate at atleast six different locations and this is not on par with any of the others. Ambiance does not exisit at the San Degio location. The resturant was unappealing. It was outdated with dirty smelly carpet.! Our dinner lacked flavor. One of my favorite side dishes to order is the heir loom tomatoes, but when I ate it here it tasted awful. It was soggy and on the bitter side. For my entree I had the rib eye and it didn't have the signature Ruth Chris flavor. Although I ordered medium rare, the steak tasted dry. I don't recommend this restaurant at all!!!

I've gotta admit that this restaurant is absolutely incredible. Delicious and worth every penny. Yes, pricey but if you are looking for a good piece of meat this is the place to go for the steak. They cook it just right! Combined with a bottle of red wine and the mash potatoes you have a delectable unforgetable meal! I would recommend this to anyone anyday!!
