This store has the widest range of Wigs that I've ever seen...
Truly an ""Experience"" to go in -- and see all that the have to offer.
Located in Downtown San Diego-- this place is so well known in Hollywood and in the Drag Queen Circle-- that everytime I'm in there it is entertaining to watch people try on wigs and do the ""before"" and ""afters"" -- that really turn heads!
They have the widest selection of Costume-y type wigs in town. They also have a good selection of Noriko, Rachquel Welch, and other well known brands. I have bought a couple from this store that look so good that you would swear you just stepped out of the salon in La Jolla, Beverly Hills, or 5th Ave (NYC). It is an incredibly good store.
Really enjoy Marguarite-- the salon salesperson-- as well as the professional stylist who assists you with customizing your wig with bangs or altering the length to fit your face. The owner is very nice-- and will also allow you to look at catologues--- if you are needing to custom order a particular wig.... or color.
San Diego is very blessed! We have some extremely good wig shops and Granada is certainly one of the best.
An Expert on Wigs-- have been a singer for a number of years using wigs in performances for over the past 20 years. Recently had the experience of ""chemically melting"" my hair-- while trying to return to a platnum blonde-- after having gone red. Needless to say-- had to completely shave my head down to a 1/4 inch-- all over my head... leaving me to completely rely on using wigs until my hair grows out to a length that I feel comfortable wearing again.
Wow--- the silver lining to this-- was in discovering the incredible wig shops that San Diego has to offer.
I am giving I just love it! So glad I fried my hair-- and had an excuse to discover another complete Passion! Wigging Out!
