This happy story starts with a wonderful agent who convinced me to purchase the damage waiver prior to my road trip from San Diego to San Francisco. I argued with her as I've heard hidden fees pop up anywhere you try to rent cars and I wanted to avoid falling victim to this. Fast forward nearly two weeks in to my Cali stay, specifically as I was wrapping up my visit to San Francisco. I park on a one of the less than busy streets off of Market thinking I'd hit the jackpot -- free parking. WRONG! After a 5 - 6 hour stay visiting friends in Tech, I return to the rental to find a shattered rear passenger window and my laptop stolen. Enterprise handled everything with ease -- damage waiver to the rescue. My laptop however was not covered as I hadn't gotten the next level of insurance coverage... However, my rental was upgraded to a VW Passat (first push-to-start ever!) as was my 400 mile journey back to San Diego.

Enterprise: Thanks for an awesome first car rental experience!

Great job during the rental experience. Even though the computers were down for normal maintenance, the staff was courteous and didn't miss a step. We'll be back.

While on a business trip we used Enterprise Rent-A-Car. The car and service were great. I will be using them again. I really enjoyed the narration from the shuttle bus driver on the return to the airport.

Pick up in San Diego went well as usual. This was a one way drop-off in Oakland, Ca. Drove from light to dark and left my prescription sunglasses in the overhead glass compartment. Oakland Enterprise team did not appropriately sweep vehicle on return. Manager checked car the next morning and glasses were gone. Made the excuse that the folks that might have taken the glasses are contract employees. Told her if they're working for Enterprise, they are Enterprise! Also logged a complaint with Enterprise and never heard a word back.

Was an Enterprise fan previous to this incident. Now I'll just shop on price.

Had a great experience at airport San Diego. I have always been happy with Enterprise and my business with this location was no different. Prompt, kind, and on point. In and out in record time. Also saved $100 on a one way charge from another local location. Thank you Enterprise.

I used to love Enterprise. Have been a member with them for a long, long time. Rented a car on a recent trip, specifically declined the additional coverage, got home and found an additional $160 worth of charges on my bill for said charges. I contacted them 4 times about the error and they have not rectified the situation. They seem to be sticking me with charges for services I specifically declined to the agent at the counter when I picked up the car. I don't like the idea of lumping them in the pile of companies that rip you off, but this one feels like a flat-out scam.

I flew into San Diego on business and my employer rented my vehicle thru Enterprise. They had reserved the vehicle prior online and when we arrived the employees made the experience incredibly easy. It was quick, easy, and the customer service was very friendly and professional. The vehicle was new, clean, and I had no problems during my two day stay on business. However, the vehicle was paid for in advance by my employer and my credit card was charged the full amount when the vehicle was brought back.

Great Service! Reserved my car on-line and picked up in San Diego. The kids working there couldn't have been nicer or more professional. I can't believe how many people they serviced in how short a time. Cars all looked new and clean. Return was incredibly fast and was actually slightly cheaper than I expected.

Terrible Service. I made a reservation to pick up in the San Diego Airport and Drop Off in the Los Angeles airport. When I dropped off the car and LAX was overcharged approximately $100. I spoke to the representative there and she was not helpful and impolite. I checked my reservation confirmation that is automatically generated by Enterprise and sent to my email and it only specified the Pick Up location.

I called Enterprise Customer Service and they told me that my drop off location should have been specified in the form that the representative gave me in San Diego but it was not. Then I was told by the Customer Service representative that I would be refunded the difference if the drop off location was not specified in the confirmation email sent by Enterprise. I emailed the representative the email that I received from Enterprise and he basically told me that I had manipulated the email to remove the drop off location. I insisted that I did not and he transferred me to his supervisor. The supervisor told me that I would receive a call from the Manager and I am still waiting for the call.

I have been renting with enterprise at least once or twice a year for the past few years but this is definitely the last time that I rent with this pauper company. I am just asking to pay what they originally quoted to me in the reservation I was overcharged approximately $100.
