Bai Yook Thai Cuisine

Nice atmosphere and clean facility! The Tom Yum soup was average and salty but the grilled pork dish was decent. Overall, an OK Thai restaurant!

Visited Bai Yook Thai Cuisine in Jan. 09 and have nothing but positive things to say. The regular menu is extensive, although we chose a few items from the "Seasonal Menu" insert which were delicious: "Si Suda's Moo-Yang" is a tasty dish of grilled pork with emerald fried rice, and "Pattaya-Sunset" seafood mix flavored with yellow curry was most satisfying. We also shared the satay chicken appetizers which were tender and tasty, and the papaya salad was mouth watering delicious. The service was friendly, prompt, and professional. I give much credit to the owner, whom was working with the servers and kitchen making sure all customers were being satsified that night. The interior is lovely with bamboo, teak, and wooden decor charm, which offsets any perception of a typical overlighted strip mall image. I highly recommend Bai Yook Thai Cuisine if you are looking for good Thai food in San Diego.
