I planned a once in a lifetime trip, made all plans, pre-booked everything I could. I checked-in online and went to pick up my rental, handed them my paper showing my pre-paid amount, and check-in confirmation. I was told they did not have my car I had asked for. From that time on, I was charged over $800, not including my pre-paid rental, during my vacation. I could not go anywhere the first 3 days because I was on the phone trying to clear things up. When I returned my car, I was told everything was taken care of and that in 7 to 10 days all my money would be refunded. It has been 13 days since I have been back, no refund yet, but another charge on my card. I do have to say that the people I have delt with have been courteous and seem to genuinely be working on my situation. It is just very aggravating, that I planned and paid for everything I could so when I reached my destination it would be easy and I could enjoy, but instead it has turned into a mess!!
