The previous review was just plain hate and a vain attempt to vent all that is wrong in life. This person complained about everything and hates the fact that a favorite employee left for another job. This person has also had many "free" services given to them by this employee and is resentful that the new owner no longer gives those free services. One of those free services was a mailbox but now that this person is asked to pay for the mailbox, oh no, hate review! I've been a customer for that store since 1998 and I've never had a problem with lost mail or packages from that store. My mailbox rate has been kept as low as possible for the whole time (I check periodically with the UPS store across the street). Notice how this person used a one time incident to imply that everyday is that Thanksgiving date for all customers. This type of ignorance and hate is why I'm taking the time to write this review. I too, was surprised that the store was closed on a non-holiday but I found out that the employee had a medical emergency WHILE the owner was out of town. A backup was called in later in the day and everything was fine. Wow, FORGOT TO MENTION THAT ONE, DIDN'T YOU? Hardly a worse nightmare. The previous owners also had occasional emergencies and it's not like they have a lineup of spare employees waiting in storage. Get a clue. I've been there many times near closing and the owner always stays late to help some last minute customer with any problems ranging from faxing, copies or shipping. I've never seen her give any attitude to me or any customer that happens to be around when I'm there and believe me, that place is ALWAYS busy. This person knows way too much about the store operations and there's only 3 people I know that could have written such a racket. How would they know that the owner is making NOTARY mistakes? Sounds like the hate-mail person was ALSO a Notary. Aww, no more Notary commissions for you there? How many years have you been getting Notary commissions from that store without being asked for a single dime of payment? good2bgreen, stop whining and get a life. The store is a business and nothing is free. I'm paying for the convenience of not having to cross a street or wait in long lines to send out my packages. This same person will probably complain that YellowPages allows responses to hate mails too.
