We thought we'd try a new (for us) Korean restaurant, but we should have gone back to Korean Bar-b-que on El Camino Real where we know the food and service is good. There were 4 of us and we got 2 menu's, I asked the waitress for more menu's, she obviously didn't understand us because none came, I got up to look for another one and found one that was chained to another menu and she saw that I needed another and finally brought one. She came to our table 4 times asking if we were ready and we had told her we weren't ready before, she didn't give much time between each time she asked. We finally ordered, my son ordered number 50 and number 61 and she informed us that 50 and 61 were the same, it wasn't, she was trying to tell us that 51 and 61 were the same but only one had sauce, my son said please just bring 50 and 61. She never asked if we wanted anything to drink other than the tea, there were 4 of us and she brought 4 bowls of rice but said one of us didn't get it so she took one back, she did the same with one of the many small dishes, there were 2 dishes of bean sprouts but took one back. My son noticed that she was sitting with the other waitress and she was pointing at our table and laughing. The food was not very good, very fatty and tough short ribs, the supposed market steak strips were overdone and flavorless, the small bowl of sweet potato was tasteless and the calamari was the worst we've ever eaten, I've never seen it prepared that way, I don't think it was real, it was inedible, there was only one other table occupied in there, and the service was very poor, when I asked for sugar she rolled her eyes and sighed, so sorry to bother her, she shouldn't be working with the public. This is the first time in all my years eating out that I didn't leave a tip, at first I felt bad but then got over it real quick. Please drive another mile down the road to Korean Bar-b-que on El Camio where the food is much better and the servers are pleasant.
