Most stores regardless of subject item, let it be plumbing supplies, industrial plastics or just plastic models and crafts when they post 5:00 or 6 PM to close, then that means their closed. To think otherwise, try managing your time better, and accept the fact that clerks, let alone store owners are people whom have home lives too. I have frequented Busy Bee for many years, and their prices are good on all items in store. During "business" hours they provide appropriate information and if necessary per inquiries made on your part will refer to any other business where they may not have an item or are unable to order themselves for you. I have gone to several stores throughout the Inland Empire, not looking before hand online their hours, coming at the last minute to the store within minutes of the posted closing only to find the doors locked and seeing through the window or door glass the clerk counting money at the register. Does that mean I won't return to the store at an appropriate time to assuage the instance of a shop keeper closing minutes before quiting time? No... just as advised, I'll come at a more appropriate hour.
Most of the staff are elderly, which means they are experienced and know a lot about crafts. Being San Bernardino, their customers tend on being demanding and un-socialized. Seems like the negative blogs were posted by the same person. Treat others like you want to be treated, and have respect for those older than you. Busy Bee Hobby staff have always been kind and helpful to me.
This store has been a staple for the residents of San Bernardino. I'm sure there are a lot of happy kids who owe them a special thank you for supplying them with some of their best hobby material. I for 1 say thanks to you and all your staff.
