We needed an ear, nose and throat specialist, but the wait at our HMO was two weeks. What now? An emergency room seemed like overk…
This experience is not what I expected with the private, small studio. But when Carrie gets ahold of you its awesome. She is extremely artistic when applying makeup so she looks at your face like it is a canvas and begins her work. She gets really involved and does what you want her to do. The thing that I loved about it is that I still didn't even know for sure (after two separate trials) on the wedding day what I wanted done with my hair. I couldn't decide. So Carrie took over and began working my hair into whatever she was doing and when I turned around I fell in love! I hadn't seen anything that looked like that on pinterest or google and it was perfect for me and my face. I even changed things about how I wanted my makeup from the last two times I had been with her and she did whatever I asked and never seemed annoyed with me and my indecisiveness. She was so sweet towards my 5 year old sister and gave her a little bit of sparkle too! She worked with all of my girls with her other team members and had patience and endurance for they were there longer than they intended. I was appreciative of her and her team for staying to do touch ups for after the ceremony as well. I really couldn't have been happier with such a passionate person working with me and remaining calm while I couldn't make a decision to save my life. Just let her be her and she will let you be you. She truly is an artist :) and I grew fond of her soft spirit and her loving nature. Thank you Ms. Von Loudon for making me feel like the princess I was afraid I wouldn't be able to feel like due to my inability to make a decision!
I WILL NOT go to a civilian hospital!!! Did that a couple of times and it was horrid. I've had a couple of upper and lower GI's, Laranyx repair, a double bypass due to a heart attack. If you can rate a hospital up there with a 5 star hotel, well this is it!! the heart attack and following allergic reaction to morphine caused me to have to apologize to the nurses and dr's.for my rude behavior. They were understanding and did not expect me to as tooo many ppl do this. They had only my best interest at heart, were understanding and loving while i was the worst patient from below. I was emberassed at my attitude and treatment of them. Never once did they loose their cool with me when it was warranted. 3.5 weeks due to heart attack, surgery and they were angels. I tried not to bother them as I know they are busy, understaffed, underpaid and have many NEEDY personalities to contend with. Removal of the chest drainage tubes I have to say was a pleasant experience as the nurses were well versed in making it painless. And they allowed me to sleep as i have problems with it. If they took pressures they did it such a way as not to wake me. I have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING bad to say of this hospital. I was treated like a queen each time I was there. To each and every worker there from the housekeeping staff to the dr's I THANK YOU for my life!! And for finding problems I had no idea existed but only through your extensive and sometimes odd tests and caring, those problems are fixed or being handled. To my ANGELS thank you. And my family thanks you also.
I had recently moved to South Texas 5 yrs ago.I was way out there a place called Fashing. One hot May afternoon while working in garden it hit PAIN.Oh NO!Here I am almost 300 miles from my home town HOUSTON.The famous medical center and MY doctors. Went to a small hospital in Kenedy and was Life Flighted by the "THE BOYS IN BLUE" to a place I never heard of TEXSAN HOSPITAL,scared you bet I was and my wife ,being a nurse, was too.But what a wonderful experience. Dr Casey was a great professional doctor and the hospital was state of the arts.First thing we noticed was how organized everything was.No running out of the room for the nurses to get supplies, everything needed right in room.Everyone working together, procedure done,NO OPEN HEART,but my second stent, and much better care than in Houston.Recovery in my own room with family to be moral support, and good staff caring staff. If you have ever been in a hospital you can tell this hospital was designed with the patient in mind..Make a place good for the employees to work and they can take much better care of the patients.Again I much say the "VISIT" was 100% a success. I give 5 stars and would and have told everyone I know how great Texsan is.Heart problems are no guessing game,Take me to Texsan if I every have problems again.
