I have been taking my kids here for a little over a year now and I have not had any problems with this daycare. The people there are kind and my kids love their teachers. The director is very detail oriented and organized. It is hard to judge a daycare base on what a teacher does. I do know that based on some of the comments i've seen the teacher is no longer there. BAD TEACHER NOT BAD DAYCARE. I do know that proper background checks are done prior to hiring. They are watched like a hawk, there are cameras in this place. In any place kids will do what they want and when they want they are kids and they will get bruises and scratches and kids wont get along sometimes. Most importantly kids will make messes and if you see your kid sitting in a messy highchair it probably means that your kid was just eating which means that the teacher was feeding your kid or just finished. all of this is part of being kids and dont complain if you decide to let someoine else raise your kids. After all they are with these teachers more than they are with you. Two thumbs up kids garden I love your curriculum.
First of all, if you are anything like me... a overly concerned mom, no one takes care of your children like you can, and just overly paranoid ;) read THIS! I have 2 sons, 4 yr and a 20 month old... I've done the house sitter, the registered with the state home daycare, the "Name Brand" daycare... and I will be totally honest with you, I am truley grateful, and lucky to have found Nurturing Hearts. Last year alone I had to travel for work and i was out for a week here and there and then when i had to leave my kids for 2 weeks I didnt think I would be able to last, but the Daycare kept me up to date on the kids daily activities, I was able to see them online with their Cameras that they have in there rooms, I was able to speak with them!!! It really made me feel SO MUCH BETTER. This is privately owned, the owner, the teachers and the director Mrs Nina, are so awesome I cant say enough good things about them!! Thank you Nurturing Hearts for all that you do
My child has been attending this Country Home for over a year. In general I am satisfied with the care. Some teachers are better than others just as it is everywhere. The outside playgrounds are nice and roomy, however you can hardly see children there due to the weather being either too hot or too cold. I do not see how sunny bright 60F can be too cold, but it certainly makes it complicated for teachers to dress and undress kids. I see it is easier to turn on a movie for kids instead or just play inside. Nevertheless I like the indoor playgrounds. They help a lot since the time outside is limited to low minimum for healthy active children. The menu is OK, the portions are unlimited until child is full. Another thing I would change is the movie time for kids. It seems that for the money we pay the child could have a human interaction with teachers instead of watching non-educational cartoons for 30 minutes straight in a dark room.
