Needed to have a water softener installed in my house. I checked with Sears and Rain Soft and also consulted with my our friends who live here in SA. (We just recently moved here from Seattle and this water softener business was new to us). Rain Soft's claims I found ridiculous; Sears actually offered a decent deal and I know and trust them. However, I stil decided to go with Aramendia for the following reasons: I dealt with them before when they installed a water pressure regulator in my house as well as handled a flooding emergency (on the same day). At that time a gentleman named Tom (Fernendez?) (and a younger man (Curtis?) came out and they did an absolutely superb job. It was not, I repeat, not cheap but I felt it was worth it because they did such a thorough job and they were SO knowledgable about their trade. They are the ones who told me about the water softener Aramendia also sells. Consequently, when I started looking for softener, I called Aramendia too. A young man named Bob came out and gave us a superb sales pitch. It was obvious he was extremely knowledgeable about the system and he didn't exaggerate the system’s capabilities or lasting power, didn’t BS me with ridiculous claims, etc. Since our house has never had a softener, part of the estimate included the preparations as well. After the initial estimate, we have agreed to have the job done. The following day, as we have agreed, Bob showed up with a young man named David and they went to work. Throughout the whole time they took extra care to cause minimal disruption and/or damage to our house, the attic, etc. Long story short: they did a super, professional job. Again, it was not cheap, for the installation of a 45K Watts system that will last me about 5 – 7 years, and a reverse osmosis water system in the kitchen, I paid $4,000.00 but I received (again!) superb service and peace of mind. Aramendia will be my choice of plumbers for as long as we live in SanAntonio.

I called Air Done Right a few weeks ago when my unit was acting up. A buddy of mine told me they were really good and to give them a call. When you have AC problems you dont want excuses, you want solutions, and these guys had them. The fact that a human being answered the phone was a bonus, not only that, it was the owner of the company who took the call. Joe told me that he would take care of our call and that he appreciated the opportunity to be of service. You dont hear that too much anymore! They showed up when they said they would. ( I called in the morning and they were there before noon) They looked at my unit, diagnosed the problem and fixed it. I have dealt with other AC companies and they always try to over sell or say you need a new major component. These guys looked at my situation, and gave me the options of what was best for me with out scaring me into buying a new unit. I really appreciated that. They were honest, professional and showed a lot of integrity. They technician was very courtious and referred to me as sir. That was a surprise since respect is not something you see alot nowadays. These guys are all about respect and customer service. I dont know anything about AC work and they did not take advantage of that. I never leave feedback about companies, but these guys were really good and they deserve the high marks. Not only were they professional, they didnt charge me an arm and a leg for the service and repair. Its rare to find a company that has the customer in mind and does the right thing. They really live up to their name. Thanks again Joe, and Air Done Right.
The service on my AC was excellent. The preliminary by Technician Phillip and the replacing and installing of the compressor by two techs was also excellent. I had been without air conditioning for two days. Phillip, the lead technician came out on Tuesday and evaluated the problem thoroughly. Then, two technicians came out, John first who began the replacing and installation of the compressor, then Jose came to aid in the finishing. They were professional and thorough. They were carefull attentiive. They attended to every need of the air conditiong unit to make sure the compressor, freon, and mechanisms were working properly. They made sure I was okay with everything they did and showed they cared that I was comfortable and given the expertise needed both as a customer and an individual. They worked as quickly as they could to get me back into a cool and comfortable house, aiding in my physiological situation. This type of care, concern and professionalism is why I picked Jon Wayne eight years ago. I am so grateful. I feel honestly that as far as heating and air conditioning is concerned, Jon Wayne company are the experts. I am retired from teaching four years now. I can rely on my air and heating needs to be taken care of along with my personal needs and concerns in connection. The three gentlemen who assisted in accomplishing this for me on Tuesday deserve recognition for their work and professional.
